Mayan Daykeeper Etz’nab

The essence of Etz’nab is letting go. Releasing what needs to go in order to birth something new. Sometimes this will be dramatic other times gentle, either way change is the order of the day.

I used to rebel against change, clinging to what was familiar, comfortable in my rigid patterns & beliefs. It no longer serves me & I do my best to enjoy the chaos of creation. Now having been uber rigid, I still have areas that could use some flexibility, & that’s okay. I wonder what I will become aware of today that needs releasing?mayan, daykeeper, Etz'nab, Anger, change, letting go, destruction, shatter, recreate, create, healing through ceremony, michele fire-river heart, lechenie narkomanii, pikabay

What would improve your life if you let it go?

What must be let go for balance?

What is changing no matter how you feel?

‘Resistance is futile’ change is one of the things we can count on.

As with all things find your own truth. What resonates use, what doesn’t discard.

If you have been following my blog the information below is a repeat from our last Etz’nab day, Monday 1st April.

When present, Etz’Nab may stimulate
a powerful awakening to anger and the need for change.
It can appear as rage or the destruction of an old form.
Through sudden events and changes,
Etz’nab may provoke you to be more present in the moment.
Etz’nab days provide an opportunity to detach from
obsolete motivations and future expectations.
You may want to voluntarily arrive in the present moment.
Recognize that when someone or something outside you
appears to interrupt you by demanding your attention,
you are being invited into the moment.

Those born with Etz’nab as their Daykeeper
are people who recognize and express the need for change.
Their actions often challenge the status quo and
can create change for themselves and others.

THE MAYAN DAYKEEPERS

The Mayan Daykeepers are spiritual beings with an archetypal energy within cycles of the Tzol’Kin or Mayan astrology. There are 20 Daykeepers each one presenting different energies & assigned to be present on certain days of the year. Rotating in a twenty day cycle.

I have found that having an awareness of which Daykeeper is present on any particular day, informs me about the active energy present that day. In this way I have more ease, fluidity & healing in my journey.

I offer a snipit of the knowledge presented in the book Mayan Calendar Voice of the Galaxy by Raymond Mardyks and Stacia Alana-Leah. They present comprehensive information on the way the calendar works, the energetics of the Daykeepers, the iconography of each Daykeeper, the symbol of each Daykeeper, meditations with the Daykeepers, as well as your personal birth Daykeeper.
