Mayan Daykeeper Kawak

The essence of Kawak is immediate transformation. No heads up, sometimes a change that we don’t even notice happening, it just all of a sudden has happened.

Coming originally from Africa I have a different accent than Canadians raised here. My accent has changed over time, mostly without me noticing. An exception however was ‘Banana’, I have the British long ‘A’ as part of my accent, yet one day I was shocked to here the Canadian accented banana come out of my mouth.

Now one way immediate transformation happens is through ceremony. I never know what will transform, but I do know transformation will happen. This is one of the reasons I promote ceremony so fervently.

I invite you to just notice today what happens in your world.

As with all things find your own truth. What resonates use, what doesn’t discard.

THE MAYAN DAYKEEPERS

The Mayan Daykeepers are spiritual beings with an archetypal energy within cycles of the Tzol’Kin or Mayan astrology. There are 20 Daykeepers each one presenting different energies & assigned to be present on certain days of the year. Rotating in a twenty day cycle.

I have found that having an awareness of which Daykeeper is present on any particular day, informs me about the active energy present that day. In this way I have more ease, fluidity & healing in my journey.
