When I initially think about the creative process I think about art, however the creative process has many forms. The next one I thought of was life. We are creating our lives. This is a biggie, as when we accept that we are creating our lives, then we take on the responsibility for our lives. This negates putting the blame for things that happen on others. Yesterday morning while driving to work a car coming out of an intersection almost hit me. I talked about this at work sighting the crazy drivers on our little island. However in retrospect I clearly was not paying as much attention as I could have. If I had been then perhaps I would have seen that the person was not looking both ways before accelerating from the stop sign. This does not negate the persons responsibility, but what it does is eliminate is the blame I fired at the driver & put the responsibility for my life back where it belongs, with me. Now back in the day at this point of awareness I would have turned around and blamed myself. Gratefully however, now this is just an opportunity to remember to pay more attention to keep myself safe on the road. No blame, no shame, just awareness of my personal responsibility.
I would love to hear your ideas about creative processes that
you usually do not think of.
Lamat’s essence is the creative process in all forms.

If you have been following my blog the information below is a repeat. Previous Lamat days this year Jan 11th, 31st, Feb 20th, March 12th, April 1st, 21st May 11th, 31st
Lamat’s presence may be experienced as an inner awakening.
It may be a new truth revealing itself and developing.
Lamat may be a growth spurt,
with a sudden movement or development toward success or completion.
When Lamat is the Daykeeper,
you may find that certain activities move along more quickly and easily.
These are good days for manifestation
and for reproducing what has already been done.
Those born on a Lamat day may experience
a new potential within themselves.
It is an ability that appears to be unique
or different from that of family members, friends or associates
