Shadow Totem Animal ~ Today’s Daykeeper is Cheun

Shadow Animal Totems sit in the Southeast of the Animal Totem Medicine Wheel

Your Shadow animal totem is a black & white animal, as it helps you see your shadow side and bring it into the light.

Your Shadow Animal
~ How to respect your individuality
~ Shows you what mirrors in the outer world are a reflection of your inner world
~ Shows you how to attract what you want and not conform
~ Often shows up when you are playing in your shadow, and need a reminder to come into the light
~ Shows you the shadows you’ve cast into your life, what you don’t want to see
~ Assists you in finding those pieces of your shadow that you are ready to accept & forgive yourself for
~  Hunts for those pieces of your shadow that you are ready to turn into a strength
~  Assists you in finding those pieces of your shadow that you are ready to integrate & turn into a power story
~ Reminds you that your shadow is a part of you, helping you to learn and grow

When we look at what else sits in the southeast of some other wheels what interconnections do you see?
~ Sacred Ancestors
~ The 20 Great Teachers of Life (We started the 20 Great Teachers on July 22nd 2017’s post, if you wish to see the info on them)
~ Sex
~ Spirit, spirit: Experiencing the presence of life. All things Born into Substance are Born from Spirit. This we humans learn as we Experience Life. Six directions make up all Spheres: East, West, South, North, Zenith, and Nadir. (Zenith: The As Above, Nadir: The So Below)
~ Character
~ Self-Knowledge
~ Self-awareness
~ Individuality

What resonated or created an internal reaction? That tells you that there is something there that will inform you about yourself. You are at choice to investigate further or not.

When we’re in balance we express our individuality. When Out of balance we sit in conformity.

Animal totems are numerous and varied, beliefs about how many we have and what they do, are just as varied. I present what I have been taught and experienced. Trance drum journeys are a way to find your animal totems, be it just one or many. I facilitate drum journeys. Should you be interested in doing one, contact me & we’ll set up an appointment for this magickal experience.

So what are Totem Animals and why would you even want one? Animal Totems are animal spirit allies, on your journey in this lifetime. They give you advice when asked for, and answer questions you have. They can support you when you’re scared, help empower you, clarify things, show you the next step in your healing journey, walk with you as a trusted companion and more. There are 9 Animal Totems, one in the centre and 8 around your Animal Totem Medicine Wheel. Are they real animal spirits? Well I don’t think it matters one iota if they are or aren’t, what you imagine you create. Whatever you believe and experience is your truth. It is the wisdom & knowledge you get from them that matters, not whether you believe that it’s an animal spirit or a part of your own psyche.

Mayan Daykeeper Cheun ~ Cheun’s essence is the imaginative blending when we create alone or together, and the enjoyment that comes from these creations.

Those who are experiencing Chuen’s presence
may feel an energetic high and
a positive sense of power in their ability
to responsibly create their reality.

On Cheun’s day, you may experience creative,
artistic desires and abilities,
an openness to play and an ability to enjoy life.
It’s a day to be a conscious co-creator and a joyful,
positive participant in the creation of life.

Those born with Chuen as their Daykeeper
may be happy-go-lucky, enjoy responsibility or
be envied by others for their good fortune.

Your interpretation and experience is your own. I can only share my personal understanding, I invite you to find your own truths and their relevance in your life. This is really important. If something resonates great, if not chuck it out. We gain nothing by ‘taking on’ others life experiences and beliefs. The juice and healing comes from within your own understanding, it is pivotal for your healing journey and manifesting what you want.
