Happy Spring Equinox everyone, the plant world is waking up whoo hoo!
Mayan Daykeeper Imix has brought us back to the beginning of a new cycle of 20 days. SPRING Equinox the season of new growth. Of all the seasons spring brings our attention to the plant world the most, from my perspective. So for the next 20 days I’m going to find a plant, tree, herb, etc that illuminates or holds the energy of the daily Daykeeper. Let’s explore together.
Vinca Minor ~ Holds the energy of Imix ~ The start of one dividing into many & yet still being part of the one.
Vinca Minor reproduces itself by sending out a long segmented stem and a new stem with leaves and flowers will grow from each segment. Hence it’s ability to reproduce at an astounding rate, creating either delight or exasperation to many a gardener. It is also known as periwinkle, running-myrtle, blue buttons, devil’s eye, joy on the ground and sorcerer’s violet.
