7 The Chariot, Tarot, Mayan, daykeeper, Ik, expansion, birth, burst, air, release, healing through ceremony.com, michele fire-river heart

Tarot: 7 ~ The Chariot

7 ~ The Chariot (aka 7 ~ The Warrior/Jaguar Knight: Mayan tarot). . . . .
~ You are certain in who you are.
~ Direct and to the point you change nothing about yourself to please others in search of  approval.
~ The warrior in you has gone after your shadow and your shadows actions, healing and making them into an ally. Having delved into your unconscious you are comfortable with the dark and light sides of yourself.
~ The ability to set goals and accomplish them is now natural to you.
~ Having great self-control as well as fluidity, affords you strength and freedom.

NOT FEELING IT?
~ Acknowledge one thing you have overcome in your life
~ Name one time where you were the warrior for yourself
~ Visualize and feel the emotion of each of these one at a time, while tapping them into your heartspace with your hand (Go on, even if you feel silly, you never know the effect of something until you try…..)
~ Now go out into the day and hold those pieces in your heart, remembering them any time you catch yourself being other than nice to yourself.
~ Life is for learning and practicing not the illusion of attaining perfection.
~ You’re doing the best you can in each moment even if it doesn’t look pretty.

PROCESS
~ Set your intent to play with this, rather than having a serious pass or fail mentality.  Intuition takes practice.
~ Set your intent to hear the intuitive messages from spirit that you get today from being present with the photo above.
~ Find a quiet place to be present with the photo. (If the kids are running around the room you’re in, forget about it, find another room)
~ Breathe deeply for a few moments, focussing on your breath. This will bring you into a more balanced intuitive state. If your internal dialogue kicks up that’s okay, just notice it and let it pass on through your mind not engaging with it, and focus on your breath again.
~ Notice what attracts you about the photo. As a symbol what does this mean to you and your life walk?
~ Notice any ‘thoughts, images, colours’ that pop up, not from your brain, but rather from your gut or elsewhere. (If it’s from your brain that is your ego chatting away, trying to distract you from hearing your intuition.)
~ What do those thoughts, colours, images mean as symbols or otherwise to you specifically and your life?
~ Right them down. Then you have them and can ponder on them any time you want during the day.
~ If nothing comes, do not, I repeat do not beat yourself up, this is playtime remember. Go about your day, something may pop up during the day unexpectedly. If not, no matter, there’s another photo coming tomorrow to play with.  Intuition takes practice.

Tarot: 10 of Wands

10 of Wands. . . . .
~ Seriously I did not do this intentionally, three 10’s in a row, apparently major transformation is happening at the moment.
~ Today’s transformation focuses on releasing negative Energy in your body, and yes we all have some.

~ One way to do this is to sit quietly and focus on your breath with the intention of allowing what needs to be released to come to the surface of your awareness. When something presents itself pull the energy out of your body, yes actually pull it out. Just visualize and feel if you can this energy being pulled out of your body as if it’s a rope and then cut it away with your hand with the intention of releasing it. Then affirm this release by saying something along the lines of ‘I take back my power now.’

~ Speaking out loud, take responsibility for your part of whatever event presented itself.

~ Then forgive yourself for whatever is relevant to you around that situation –  ie – ‘I forgive myself for carrying this energy for so long’, ‘I forgive myself for getting stuck, and not being able to move forward at that time.’, ‘I forgive myself for not defending myself in that moment’ Do not use this to beat yourself up, this is a forgiveness piece, your heart should feel some relief with your statements, they should not make you feel bad.

~ Then speak to what you now know from this new perspective. ‘I accept that I have the power to not repeat that again.’ ‘I accept that I was doing the best I could in that moment.’ ‘I accept the gift of learning …(insert the gift)… from this experience.’
Should you wish a formal ceremony from me, please contact me.

17 The Dream Dancer, 17 The Star, Tarot, Mayan, daykeeper, Ik, expansion, birth, burst, air, release, healing through ceremony.com, michele fire-river heart

Tarot: 17 ~ The Dream Dancer

17 ~ The Dream Dancer (a.k.a. The Star). . . . .
~ You are the dreamer and the dream. I found this really confusing when I first heard it, simply put it means that you are the creator of your own reality.
~ The Dream Dancer card is the signpost that you have obtained the ability to Manifest well.
~ You have turned knowledge into wisdom. (This is not age determinant).
~ This has brought you to a new level of understanding of your world and yourself. It is a hopeful day, full of promise with you as creator.
~ Celebrate who you have become today by nourishing yourself in some way.
~ It is a good day to engage with goddesses of the light, such as The White Tara from the Buddhist tradition with her healing touch, Changing Woman from the Navajo tradition a Master in transformation, Kuan Yin from the Chinese tradition Goddess of compassion, should you believe in such things. Older world views posit that we should ask these goddesses to heal us, however what we now know is that we have the power to heal ourselves. Therefore engaging with a Goddess whoever she is, would be an opportunity to share that energy and get to know what it feels like at a deeper level.

PROCESS

Warrior of Swords (a.k.a. Knight of Swords) . . . . .
~ A reminder to bring feelings into all your endeavours
~ Cut through your ego’s rantings to get to the heart of the matter
~ We do not live in isolation, remember all endeavours require interaction with people at some level. People respond with attraction energy to warm fuzzy feelings. Sad or cold energy clears a room faster than a swarm of bees.
~ Allow your heart to guide your actions.
That’s such a trite saying, hmmmm … when faced with a decision follow the feeling that makes you truly happy, not the one you ‘should’ do or the one that is a topical fix to fill a void.
Can’t feel which one is which? Imagine a movie of each decision in your head, and watch which emotions surface with each option.
Annnnnd if it’s the wrong decision at the end of the day, so what, you’re human give yourself a break. Mistakes are how we learn and grow, just ask any parent or scientist.
Mistakes are normal!

I have let go of the Mayan Daykeepers as a basis for my posts. I pull a major arcana tarot card every day from the Mayan Xultun Tarot Deck by Peter Balin. Due to honouring copyright I will not be posting a photo of the card but instead I will post a photo of something that resonates as a mirror for that card. It is up to you, to interpret what the photo’s message is for you each day.  Play with tarot, see what your intuitive messages are.

Your interpretation and experience is your own. I can only share my personal understanding, I invite you to find your own truths and their relevance in your life. This is really important. The juice and healing comes from within your own understanding, it is pivotal for your healing journey and manifesting what you want.

Mayan Daykeeper Imix  brought us back to the beginning of a new cycle of 20 days at the end of which is …… SPRING the season of new growth. We are a part of nature and nature has the ability to transform and grow with incredible speed in Spring. With that in mind we’re playing with the Mayan Daykeepers in this 20 day cycle to begin our own journey into Spring, fresh and rejuvenated, rearing to go.

Play with being Present: Feet

Today’s Mayan Daykeeper is Ik ~ The essence of Ik is birthing through growth, literal & metaphorical. (Full info at bottom of post)

Day 2 of  Playing with Being Present: Today’s theme is FEET
Pay attention to your feet today.  These two little things we call feet supporting the entire weight of our bodies, supporting us through our lives. Today is all about them, see what they have to say when you give them your attention. You may be surprised.

Here are some questions to ponder after you’ve done playing with the theme for the day.
~ Does it differ from your usual experience?
~ Have you had a new awareness from this experience?
~ Do you want to play with this again, or did it suck?
~ Was there any value in this experience? What ….
~ Are you beating yourself up for not playing well? Be present with that, and see if you want to repeat the flogging, or might you find that being present with a wee bit of compassion for yourself feels good?

Play, play, play. This is not a test, not supposed to be hard. If it’s not fun don’t do it now, try playing again later.

In this 20 day cycle you are invited to play with being present. Being in the present moment really means we are being conscious. Not in the past and not in the future. When we are in the present all the kvetching we do is not there. What you may notice is that kvetching/internal dialogue is about the past or the future.  Every day will bring a new theme with which to play. An invitation to experience being present for as short or as long as you like. This is not a test, perfection is an illusion and not the natural law. Natural law is imperfection, if you doubt this, I invite you to go into nature and find one perfect thing. There is perfection in imperfection. No matter what we play, sports, games or anything else, with repetition comes learning and improvement. So be gentle with yourself, this is not work, it is play. Have fun experiencing …….

Dreaming for Balance: Satisfaction

Day 2 of  Dreaming for Balance: Today’s theme is SATISFACTION
The word dreaming refers to our sleeping dreams and the awake dreamtime, our life when our physical bodies are awake. We are the creators of both.

Today’s Mayan Daykeeper is Ik ~ The essence of Ik is birthing through growth, literal & metaphorical. (Full info at bottom of post)

In this 20 day cycle you are invited to use Trance Dreams/Day-dreams which occur through intent or sometimes spontaneously through meditation as a discovery tool. Every day You are invited to play with the theme presented. You may choose to intend on having a new awareness around this theme that day and just allow your subconscious mind to present you with an awareness during the day, or you may choose to do a meditation on the theme and see what comes. You may choose to do nothing and that’s okay too. Whatever you choose, I invite you to not make this ‘work’ but rather something to play with, something to explore. What you do with your findings? …… Well you decide the answer to that one.

The daily themes may be used to illuminate different aspects of your ego; the places where your masked ego is ‘on point’ and the places where your ego has become the transcended ego. Uncovering the masks that you took on to survive, and the places where you have taken off your mask and discovered the beauty of impermanence.

Impermanence is the nature of reality. Everything is impermanent, plants, animals, rocks, our bodies, Grandmother Earth, stars, our moods, and yes even our ego. Living in Impermanence is the state of being that is called the transcended ego. As you heal and change, integrating impermanence into your life, you gain freedom. Living from a place of impermanence, you are no longer at the Effect of Life and Others. You stand in the moment and take action, flexible and in control of your choices.

In everything there are positive and negative energies. The masked and transcended ego are just the ying and yang of that particular energy we call the ego. Neither is right or wrong, they are both just states of being where you can understand and learn more about yourself. With that understanding you are at choice, what action you take is up to you.

There are many types of dreams for various reasons. Some of which are Recapitulation Dreams which provide information for us to problem solve issues and questions about our daily lives. Prophetic dreams which give us information about the future. Trance Dreams/Day-dreams which occur through intent or sometimes spontaneously through meditation. Epic Dreams that show us other worlds, some are life changing and some magickal. The ultimate dream goal, is the Power Dream, where we have gained enough knowledge and ability to control our sleeping dream in order to manifest what we will in both the sleeping and awake dreams.

Dreaming Day 2 with Daykeeper Ik

Day 2 of our 20 day cycle of dreaming.

Tonight’s dream intent will be working with Ik ~ The essence of Ik is birthing through growth, literal & metaphorical.

Your dream intent is something that is relevant to your life that you wish an answer for.
I.E. with Ik: “My dream intent is to gain clarity on one thing that is most important for me to birth this year”
There is information on the process starting at the asterisks *** below.

Dreaming is one of the ways we get information and messages that we can use to manifest our realities in this lifetime. The word dreaming refers to our sleeping dreams and the awake dreamtime, our life when our physical bodies are awake. We are the creators of both.
~ What did you dream about last night?
~ Did you remember your dream?
~ Did you glean anything from your dream?
Please feel free to share in the comments section.

Dreaming, dream interpretation, Mayan, daykeeper, Ik, expansion, birth, burst, air, release, healing through ceremony.com, michele fire-river heart

In our current 20 day cycle you are invited to explore and start to train your ability of    dreaming. Each evening before you fall asleep set an intent based on the essence of the Daykeeper present that day, each morning you will interpret your dream for a message.  There may be many messages in a dream, however let’s do baby steps. The most important thing to remember is NO-ONE can interpret your dream for you. I don’t care how many books or people say otherwise and here’s why. Dreams teach you through symbolism, your symbolism. If you see a horse in your dream, what does the symbol of a horse represent to you? A horse will represent many different things as a symbol to different people. So if someone else interprets your dream, you are getting their interpretation of the symbols in your dream from their perspective not yours. I don’t know about you, but I find no relevance in that.

Your dream creation, Your symbols, Your interpretation, affecting Your life.

Here are some steps that may help, use what you wish or don’t use any it’s up to you. Most importantly if you do not remember a dream that’s perfectly okay, there are days we remember and days we don’t. Be gentle with yourselves this is not a test, it’s an exploration. Exploring doesn’t always result in finding the pot of gold, sometimes the end of that darn rainbow is just elusive and that’s the way it goes. Have fun.

*** DREAM INTERPRETATION PROCESS
Before you go to sleep
~ Put a pen and paper next to your bed for easy access
~ Set an intent based on the current Daykeeper. Something that is relevant to your life that you wish an answer for.
~ Write it down on you paper
~ Say it out loud just before you fall asleep

In the morning or any time you wake during the night. As you are waking up, in that time when you are aware of the dream and waking up
~ Intentionally remember as much of the dream as you can
~ Write down as much as you can using double line spacing, including how you felt/feel, emotions, colours, smells, etc. Write it as it comes, do not go into your head analyzing if it makes sense or is coherent, just write
~ Using your extra line spacing to write in, write down your interpretation of what each word means to you symbolically
~ When complete look for meaning, a message within your interpreted writing. Just one, finding all the messages and meanings can be overwhelming to start. If nothing makes sense, see if a certain word, symbol, feeling, emotion, smell or colour that jumps out and go from there. There is no right or wrong here, if you feel it’s relevant then it is. If nothing comes don’t stress or beat yourself up, just leave it for now and go about your day.
~ Ask for more of the dream or meaning be revealed to you during your day.

Other questions that may help:
~ What was my intent?
~ What is the feeling of the dream?
~ What is the general energy of the dream?
~ What was the most important object in the dream?
~ How does this dream relate to my intent?
~ Is there a symbol that sticks out from the rest? What does it represent to me in relation to my intent?

There are many types of dreams for various reasons. Some of which are Recapitulation Dreams which provide information for us to problem solve issues and questions about our daily lives. Prophetic dreams which give us information about the future. Trance Dreams/Day-dreams which occur through intent or sometimes spontaneously through meditation. Love: Parents ~ Today’s Daykeeper is Ik

Love: Parent(s)/Primary Caregiver(s) sit in the East of the Love Medicine Wheel

I put parents in the East, as the East is about catalyst energies, the sun, fire, fire of creation, the stars, raw power, illumination & enlightenment. Parents catalyze our being into this lifetime.

What interconnections do we have on other medicine wheels:
~ Inter-connection: Well no inter-connection, no baby eh!
~ Attainment: From conception to walking, to graduating and onward, attainment is everywhere on the journey for both parents and children.
~ Self-determination: Personally I believe we choose our parents for the best opportunity to heal in the this lifetime. So self-determination of the spirit being born.
~ Devotion: Well parenting usually comes with devotion
~ Expansive mind: Children automatically create the stage for our minds to expand. What first time parent could have imagined what was to come, and each child is different, so the opportunity to learn is present with each successive child.
~ Integrity: I found that having a wee one looking at me as a role model helped my integrity. The more integrity we have the clearer the mirror is for our children, and the greater image-maker we become.
~ Discovery: Parenting is a constant road of discovery, for parents and children

and love …… lets delve into parents and love tomorrow

So what are Totem Animals and why would you even want one? Animal Totems are animal spirit allies, on your journey in this lifetime. They give you advice when asked for, and answer questions you have. They can support you when you’re scared, help empower you, clarify things, show you the next step in your healing journey, walk with you as a trusted companion and more. There are 9 Animal Totems, one in the centre and 8 around your Animal Totem Medicine Wheel. Are they real animal spirits? Well I don’t think it matters one iota if they are or aren’t, what you imagine you create. Whatever you believe and experience is your truth. It is the wisdom & knowledge you get from them that matters, not whether you believe that it’s an animal spirit or a part of your own psyche.

Mayan Daykeeper Ik ~ The essence of Ik is birthing through growth, literal & metaphorical.

Ik can manifest in the human experience as
impulses, actions or behaviors that seem
out of character or out of control.
Ik days provide an opportunity to
push beyond your accepted beliefs or those of society.

It is a day for revelations and the realization
that there is more that exists beyond the boundaries we create.
Expand your boundary voluntarily
and be open to new possibilities and unexpected opportunities.
Consider doing something different and unusual
for who you believe yourself to be.

Those born on an Ik day
bring influences from outside to their group or family
that stimulate growth in new directions.

Your interpretation and experience is your own. I can only share my personal understanding, I invite you to find your own truths and their relevance in your life. This is really important. If something resonates great, if not chuck it out. We gain nothing by ‘taking on’ others life experiences and beliefs. The juice and healing comes from within your own understanding, it is pivotal for your healing journey and manifesting what you want.

The 1st Imagining ~ Today’s Daykeeper is Ik

On Sept 21st Mayan Daykeeper Imix brought us back to the beginning of a new cycle of 20 days. This cycle I am looking at creation through imagination. The relevant daily information on today’s Mayan Daykeeper is below todays musings.

We are creators of our lives, what we imagine we create.

We are going to look at something call ‘The Twelve Imaginings’. The were given to Hyemeyohsts Storm by Estcheemah. She was a Zero Chief. Hyemeyohsts wrote these down in his book Lightningbolt. What is a Zero Chief? My understanding is the Zero chiefs were a secret group of people that keep the spiritual & healing knowledge of the Native Americans when it needed to go underground, to preserve it and keep it safe due to colonization. Now I could be wrong, but there it is, make of it what you will.

We will do an imagining a day for 2 days. On the third day I will add an imagining of my own. You are invited to add imaginings of  your own in the comments section on any day. On the 20th day of the cycle I will list all the imaginings that have been submitted.

The first imagining ~ I imagine men & women are equal.
My version: I imagine all people are equal regardless of gender

Imagine, people are equal, Mayan, daykeeper, Ik, expansion, birth, burst, air, release, healing through ceremony.com, michele fire-river heart

I invite you to sit with this, and write down what this means to you.

Here’s some of what that means to me:
I am seen
I am heard
All opportunities are available
Emotions are considered natural
No one has fewer rights than another
My daughter doesn’t face discrimination & violence due to her gender
