The 6th Imagining ~ Today’s Daykeeper is Muluk

Your interpretation and experience is your own. I can only share my personal understanding, I invite you to find your own truths and their relevance in your life. This is really important. If something resonates great, if not chuck it out. We gain nothing by ‘taking on’ others life experiences and beliefs. The juice and healing comes from within your own understanding, it is pivotal for your healing journey and manifesting what you want.

On Sept 21st Mayan Daykeeper Imix brought us back to the beginning of a new cycle of 20 days. This cycle we are looking at creation through imagination. The relevant daily information on today’s Mayan Daykeeper is below todays musings.

We are creators of our lives, what we imagine we create.

We are looking at ‘The Twelve Imaginings’. The were given to Hyemeyohsts Storm by Estcheemah. She was a Zero Chief. Hyemeyohsts wrote these down in his book Lightningbolt. What is a Zero Chief? My understanding is the Zero chiefs were a secret group of people that keep the spiritual & healing knowledge of the Native Americans when it needed to go underground, to preserve it and keep it safe due to colonization. Now I could be wrong, but there it is, make of it what you will.

We will do an imagining a day for 2 days. On the third day I will add an imagining of my own. You are invited to add imaginings of  your own in the comments section on any day. On the 20th day of the cycle I will list all the imaginings that have been submitted.

The 6th Imagining ~ I imagine that I can help change the conditions of my world and my personal circumstances

I invite you to sit with this imagining, and see what it means to you.

Here’s some of what it means to me:
~ I make impact in the world
~ I am always changing
~ When I change who I am, I change my world
~ If I don’t like something in my world, I recreate it
~ When I have a problem, there is always a solution

Mayan Daykeeper Muluk ~ The essence of Muluk is the interdependence & connection between all things

Your experience of Muluk may include feeling a sense of debt,
a desire for unconditional giving or an unwillingness to give.
A day with Muluk as Daykeeper is a good time to consider
what is needed to maintain productive and agreeable relationships.
Demonstrate your appreciation and fulfill your obligations
to those that support you.

Those born on a Muluk day must rely on others to fulfill certain responsibilities.
They also need to be involved in the projects of others.
They are often most successful as team players.

The Interconnection of Victory, Moon & Movement ~ Today’s Daykeeper is Muluk

Your interpretation and experience of these energies is your own. I can only share my personal understanding, I invite you to explore what they mean to you and their relevance in your life. This is really important. We gain nothing by ‘taking on’ others life experiences and beliefs. The juice and healing comes from within your own understanding, it is pivotal for your healing journey.

This cycle I am looking at the interconnection between The Twenty Great Teachers of Life and The Earth Count. Let’s see what their interconnection has to teach us. The relevant daily information on each energy is below todays musings.

The Interconnection of Victory, the Moon and Movement ~ Looking from the perspective of victory teaching you about the enemy within (read the ninth great teacher below, so that this makes sense), what is awareness, understanding and healing, but movement. Whenever we change there is movement. The moon shows us how movement is a natural part of life, and that there is an ebb and flow to all things. Using this knowledge with awareness of your own patterns of ebb and flow, gives you an edge in your ability to heal/change a pattern. Every smoker knows trying to quit when they are not ready is fruitless. Why? They are at the wrong point in their pattern for the greatest opportunity for success. When they absolutely want to quit, this is the point in the ebb and flow of their addictive pattern where the opportunity for success is greatest. We actually know this ebb and flow pattern well, how often do you hear ‘Don’t talk to …. until they’ve had their coffee.’, ‘I wouldn’t talk to … they are in a bad mood.’, ‘Don’t eat that, it is too old.’, ‘The car needs an oil change.’, and on the coast ‘It’s the perfect time for swimming, it’s high tide.’

Now interestingly enough the ‘best time’ in the ebb and flow cycle will actually change as you do. For instance (using one of my examples below), when first working on abundance mentality, it’s probably not the best time to start when you are in self pity. However once you have been working with this pattern for awhile, the goal is that when you are going into self pity will be the best time to practice abundance mentality. It’s a learning curve to heal/change a pattern just like anything else. So ease into healing/changing a pattern, be gentle and kind to yourself, and remember, mistakes are normal, without mistakes we learn nothing. Not sure I’m right? Talk to any scientist about mistakes, you will find they are pivotal to learning and ultimately leading to breakthroughs.

Should you choose to heal/change a pattern, may your experience be light like a butterfly.

9 – The Ninth Great Teacher is Victory.
Victory teaches us respect for the enemy within.

Victory often associated with external competition, is also a victory of another kind. A victory over something within ourselves that we have healed, overcome, released. Victory shifts your paradigm of what is possible.

Now why does victory teach us respect for the enemy within. ‘Enemy within’, sounds a bit aggressive, but let’s look at the context of why that word is used, and then reframe it.
Here are a few of my examples (yours may be different, even working with the same energies):
~ Sobriety versus the enemy of escapism
~ Abundance versus the enemy of self pity
~ Accomplishment versus the enemy of a defeatist attitude
~ Empowerment versus the enemy of shame and blame
~ Acceptance versus the enemy of dissatisfaction
~ Not being at ‘the effect’ of others versus the enemy of ‘it’s all about me’
~ Engaging activity versus the enemy of lethargy
~ A happy disposition versus the enemy of internal dialogue indulgence
~ Feeling versus the enemy of hiding
~ Happiness now versus the enemy of living in the past or future
~ Intimacy versus the enemy of fear of betrayal
~ Confrontation versus the enemy of suppression of feelings
~ Self acceptance versus the enemy of ‘I can do better’
~ I am enough versus the enemy of I need more healing
~ Healthy eating versus the enemy of emotional eating.
~ Graciousness versus the enemy of dismissing success
~ The joy of success versus the enemy of moving on to the next thing
~ Satisfaction versus the enemy of futurizing
~ Positive measure of self worth versus the enemy of picking at what I could have done better

So I don’t know about you, but as soon as I hear enemy, my negative warrior self goes into battle mode. Heeeyaaa Sheera leaps out sword blazing. Trouble is she will slice and dice me, which I have found out is pretty unpleasant and not successful to changing any pattern. So I prefer to think of these energies as strategies I use/used to survive past experiences. Or sometimes it was what was mirrored to me as a child, and I took it on, as my own way of being. When one of them gets my attention on a regular basis, I know I am ready to let that strategy or pattern of behaviour go. If I choose to treat myself kindly, coaching myself with compassion, things go much better, and victory is assured without needing to go to the trauma ward. If it is something that is overwhelming to you,  professional help may be prudent, in whatever form works for you.

So may all your negative warrior selves stay asleep, and your positive warrior selves be on point, gently coaching you through your day. Have an empowered, healing day.

The Interconnection of Feelings & Sacred Humans ~ Today’s Daykeeper is Chik’chan

The Interconnection of feelings and humans ~ I’m going to go straight to emotions are magnetic! I grew up with a mom that had a poverty mentality. From my perspective now we were anything but poor, but that was not how she saw it. I ingrained that belief along with the corresponding fear around lack, it wasn’t until I learnt about manifesting that I created anything else. The magnetic energy around the fear of lack perpetuated the cycle, as magnetically that is what I was broadcasting and that is what I got.

So from my perspective this interconnection is one of the most important ones to understand. It completely changes our ability to create and manifest our lives. When we understand our underlying fears, heal & change them, we change the world we personally live in. Our magnetic field is different and so to, is what we magnetically attract.

5 – The Fifth Great Teacher is Feelings
Feelings teach us about respect and honour of the physical

Oh boy, feelings. As an person who has been an addict this is a big one. Feelings is what I was suppressing with my addictive behaviour, feelings that were too painful for me to handle. So when I chose sobriety, whoosh I had to learn to deal with feelings another way. One of the first ways I dealt with feelings was to escape into my mind, into my internal dialogue, my futurizing, fantasizing, anything for distraction. This led me to hurting my body a lot. When I used my body I was not present in it, not feeling my body’s warning signs of pain, until it was severe enough to pull my attention out of my head.

At the same time I was immersed in feelings which I could not escape. Trust me when you get sober there are a lot of sacred tears. Sometimes I felt like I could not bear the pain that welled up in my heart for things that were the hardest to heal, to forgive myself for, to accept. I wanted to run into mind altering, but I had committed to myself that I was staying sober, so I chose to deal. At first it was unbearable and sometimes I thought my heart would just explode, and I wished I could get out of my skin as I felt like I couldn’t stand feeling anymore. What I learnt to do with the guidance of my teacher was to go into the feeling, to stay with the feeling, something that is very counter intuitive for an addict, we have trained hard to not do that. The big surprise for me was that if I had the courage to stick with the feeling from a grounded place and not blank out, it crested like a wave and then dissipated like a wave. I then did my healing work & moved it out of my energy body and healed the piece that was ready to go. Now we don’t do healing work on an issue and eh voila it is done. We are like  ‘like an onion’, as Shrek says. Our healing comes in layers, we think we’re done with a particular issue and then when we’re ready to heal the next piece, the universe provides us with an opportunity to do so. Eventually we are complete with that issue and yeee haa freedom.

So yes indeedy feelings do teach us respect and honour of the physical, and let’s not forget about all the amazing, wonderful feelings there are as well.

What have feelings taught you about the physical?

The Five were Born of the First Circle and exist in its Centre.
The Humans are sending their Voices into the hearts of the Four Directions in celebration of their Lives

5 – Mayan Daykeeper Chik’chan ~ The essence of Chik’chan is primal nature in all it’s naturalness. Simple instinct & knowing, when being in alignment with our true nature.

Chik’chan’s prescence may be experienced as a sensitivity to nature in its simplicity.
With this comes an ability to correct what has been altered from its natural state.
This is done to return to a relaxed state of being.
Your conscious awareness is then clear and uncomplicated.
Chik’chan days are good for accessing the deeper instincts of human nature.
Try doing something with your eyes closed or in the dark.
Distinguish between the fears that genuinely warn you of danger and those that complicate your life and keep you from trusting your true desires.

Those born with Chik’chan as their Daykeeper have a sensitivity to the simplicity within all things. They possess the ability to realign with the natural flow.
This can be done for themselves as well as for others.
They have the potential to be a healer when this ability is trusted and developed.

The Interconnection of Rage & Our Sacred Sun ~ Today’s Daykeeper is Imix

Imix has brought us back to the beginning of a new cycle of 20 days. This cycle I am looking at the interconnection between The Twenty Great Teachers of Life and The Earth Count. Let’s see what their interconnection has to teach us. The relevant daily information on each energy is below todays musings.

Interconnection between rage and our Sacred Sun ~ Well both exude an incredible amount of energy. Rage is also similar to a sun spot and the resulting explosive solar flare.  It is submerged magnetic energy fields that rise to the surface, collide, build and explode.  They are both pressure valves for magnetic energy, allowing balance to come back into the energy body. When two emotions (which are magnetic) collide and we try to hold them in, rage can be the result.

The sun nourishes us and allows for a lot of life to grow on this planet, but in excess can create disease in our bodies. Rage is the same, rage when not vented will create disease in our body and both require other energies to maintain our health.

1 – The First Great Teacher is Rage
Rage teaches us about truth

First we need to make sure we’re on the same page, for me rage is the emotion that is more intense than anger, often coming suddenly and unexpectedly, and for me quite often accompanied by a blackout of memory afterwards.

So what has rage to teach, well there is a dark and light side to everything. It has taught me about being in and out of control, suppressing and expressing my true self, my boundaries and edges, my breaking point, my power and wielding power, raw power. My ability to protect myself, my ability to hurt, shock and stun others. How important it is to honour myself and my needs. How I escape mentally when I cannot hold what has happened, or what I have done. Where I am in relation to my ability to stay in my body when under stress. That I have been forcing myself to stay in an intolerable situation. How out of balance I become when not honouring myself. The power of rage to defend others when the odds are against me. That I never want to be ‘at the effect’ of rage again, but rather have it to use in the light if necessary. How important balance has become in my life and the peace and security it brings me mentally.  That rage is a probable outcome to situations of injustice in my life, if I do not deal with them. That when I was young I conformed out of fear and then suppressed the rage that resulted. That rage held me together for the other option was to fall apart. That I do not have to get to the point where rage is a response in situations that I had control over.

Wow, well that was unexpected, I didn’t realize there was that much I had learnt from rage, nice. Rage teaches about truth. I love this blog, it offers me healing opportunities that I never expected. My intent is that it offers you that opportunity as well.

Those born on a Muluk day must rely on others to fulfill certain responsibilities.
They also need to be involved in the projects of others.
They are often most successful as team players.

The Teacher of Feelings ~ Sacred Humans ~ Mayan Daykeeper Chik’chan

Your interpretation and experience of this teacher is your own. I can only share my personal understanding, I invite you to explore what this teacher means to you and the lessons it has brought you thus far. This is really important. We gain nothing by ‘taking on’ others life experiences. The juice and healing comes from within your own paradigm, it is pivotal for your healing journey.

The Teacher of Rage ~ Sacred Sun ~ Mayan Daykeeper Imix

Imix has brought us back to the beginning of a new cycle of 20 days. This cycle I am introducing The Twenty Great Teachers of Life. Let’s see what they have to teach us. I will put the relevant daily information from our other two 20 day cycles at the bottom of each new blog post.

Hyemeyohsts Storm’s Earth Count

The Zero
The Medicine Wheel is the shape of the Zero. TheZero is the symbol and fact of creation. TheZero Chiefs say that the Zero is not nothing, but is instead Everything.
~ All of Creation’s Children were designed and born from the Sacred Zero, and exist as part of the Zero. All of creation’s children exist as Numbers within the Medicine Wheel. This is the Children’s Count or Earth Count.
~ In the beginning was WahKahn. She is the Creatures Mother and the Great Zero, the Womb that births all existence.
~ Within instantaneous being was born SsKwan. He is the Creator Father, and is the Dividing of the Zero.
~ Creation, the Zero, is perfectly balanced. The Zero is Female and Male and has designed and birthed all of Life.

1 – The One ~ ONE is the SUN
The FirstBorn from the Sacred Zero – the Marriage of WahKahn, the Creatures Mother, and SsKwan, the Creator Father – was One.
~ The East is the dancer called the Sun.

1- Mayan Daykeeper Imix: The essence of Imix is the beginning of a cycle. The start of one dividing into many & yet still being part of the one. Imix is the one.

Imix often manifests in human reality as the ability
to remain in the present moment without concern for the past and future.
It can be recognized as a clear link to that which lies beyond the mundane.
Imix offers the ability to transcend time
and to refrain from having time oriented desires.

On a Imix day you may want to be less structured.
Make time for yourself that is free from previous commitments and obligations.
This is an opportune day to discover from within
what you truly want and where you truly want to go in your life.
It is a day to acknowledge that which lies beyond time.

People who are born on a Imix day are often dreamers
that lack the desire to succeed in more materialistic accomplishments.
They often come up with new ideas that others bring to manifestation.
