Tarot: 10 of Cups

10 of Cups  . . . . .
~ Transformation comes in the form of abundance today.
~ Abundance of what? Well it will be different for each of you.
~ Commune with spirit in whatever form, to capture the sacredness of this event.
~ When we see the sacred in something, our experience deepens.
~ Dive deep into the waters of gratitude.

PROCESS
~ Set your intent to play with this, rather than it being all serious with a pass or fail mentality.  Intuition takes practice.
~ Set your intent to hear the intuitive messages from spirit that you get today from being present with the photo above.
~ Find a quiet place to be present with the photo. (If the kids are running around the room you’re in, forget about it, find another room)
~ Breathe deeply for a few moments, focussing on your breath. This will bring you into a more balanced intuitive state. If your internal dialogue kicks up that’s okay, just notice it and let it pass on through your mind not engaging with it, and focus on your breath again.
~ Notice what attracts you about the photo. As a symbol what does this mean to you and your life walk?
~ Notice any ‘thoughts, images, colours’ that pop up not from your brain, but rather from your gut or elsewhere. (If it’s from your brain that is your ego chatting away, trying to distract you from hearing your intuition.)
~ What do those thoughts, colours, images mean as symbols or otherwise to you specifically and your life?
~ Right them down. Then you have them and can ponder on them any time you want during the day.
~ If nothing comes, do not, I repeat do not beat yourself up, this is playtime remember. Go about your day, something may pop up during the day unexpectedly. If not, no matter, there’s another photo coming tomorrow to play with.  Intuition takes practice.

I have let go of the Mayan Daykeepers as a basis for my posts. I pull a major arcana tarot card every day from the Mayan Xultun Tarot Deck by Peter Balin. Due to honouring copyright I will not be posting a photo of the card but instead I will post a photo of something that resonates as a mirror for that card. It is up to you, to interpret what the photo’s message is for you each day. Let’s play with tarot. See what your intuitive messages are.

Your interpretation and experience is your own. I can only share my personal understanding, I invite you to find your own truths and their relevance in your life. This is really important. If something resonates great, if not chuck it out. We gain nothing by ‘taking on’ others life experiences and beliefs. The juice and healing comes from within your own understanding, it is pivotal for your healing journey and manifesting what you want.

Mayan Daykeeper Imix: The essence of Imix is the beginning of a cycle. The start of one dividing into many & yet still being part of the one. Imix is the one.

Imix often manifests in human reality as the ability
to remain in the present moment without concern for the past and future.
It can be recognized as a clear link to that which lies beyond the mundane.
Imix offers the ability to transcend time
and to refrain from having time oriented desires.

On a Imix day you may want to be less structured.
Make time for yourself that is free from previous commitments and obligations.
This is an opportune day to discover from within
what you truly want and where you truly want to go in your life.
It is a day to acknowledge that which lies beyond time.

People who are born on a Imix day are often dreamers
that lack the desire to succeed in more materialistic accomplishments.
They often come up with new ideas that others bring to manifestation.

Tarot: 4 of Swords

4 of Swords . . . . .
~ Time out – rest, recuperate, renewal, do not think hard deep thoughts …… stay in pleasure!
~ To call in your awake dream and manifest your desires, sometimes you need to rest. Just think of your nighttime dreams what are you doing, you are resting. Resting creates an opening to dream, to imagine, to create, to come up with a new ideas or experiences that you think are juicy. ~ You do not have to create illness to take a timeout, life is much smoother when you give your self the time out you need regularly.
~ Life can be busy I get that, but it is really only as busy as you make it. You are always at choice, even if it doesn’t feel that way sometimes. (Feel free to swear at me at any time, it will release some tension, just no hexing please!)

I have to remind myself of this from time to time, when I feel overwhelmed by the quantity of things on my ‘To Do’ list. I remind myself that I create my ‘To Do’ list and I choose the speed with which I do it. When I choose to change my belief around what needs to get done, slow down and trust that everything will get done in its own time, hmmmmm strangely everything does, imagine that. Even hearing the words ‘To Do’, creates tension in my body. So I no longer give my list a name, I write down things to remember, and when they get done they get done. I’m looking forward to the day when I am ready to release the list all together. I wonder what that will feel like?
~ Have a nourishing ‘ME’ day.

To Ponder today
~ Where can I give myself more downtime?
~ Do I need extra help in order to do that?
~ What can I let go of to create most space in my life for me?

Make time for yourself that is free from previous commitments and obligations.
This is an opportune day to discover from within
what you truly want and where you truly want to go in your life.
It is a day to acknowledge that which lies beyond time.

People who are born on a Imix day are often dreamers
that lack the desire to succeed in more materialistic accomplishments.
They often come up with new ideas that others bring to manifestation.

Tarot: 11 ~ The Balanced Alchemist

I am letting go of the Mayan Daykeepers as a basis for my posts and moving forward. I am going to pull a major arcana tarot card every day from the Mayan Xultun Tarot Deck by Peter Balin. Due to honouring copyright I will not be posting a photo of the card but instead I will post a photo of something that resonates as a mirror for that card. I will leave you in your circle, to interpret what the photo’s message is for you each day.  Let’s have fun with tarot. See what your intuitive messages are. (I will leave the Daily Daykeeper at the bottom of each post as per usual.)

The Balance Alchemist is about . . . . .
~ Taking responsibility for all your actions
~ Dealing with the impact of those actions
~ Be willing to speak the unspeakable (This means the hard stuff, not the swearing stuff)
~ Be committed to walking in the light in balance

Interconnection of Vinca Minor & Mayan Daykeeper Imix

Happy Spring Equinox everyone, the plant world is waking up whoo hoo!

Mayan Daykeeper Imix has brought us back to the beginning of a new cycle of 20 days. SPRING Equinox the season of new growth. Of all the seasons spring brings our attention to the plant world the most, from my perspective. So for the next 20 days I’m going to find a plant, tree, herb, etc that illuminates or holds the energy of the daily Daykeeper. Let’s explore together.

Vinca Minor ~ Holds the energy of Imix ~ The start of one dividing into many & yet still being part of the one.

Vinca Minor reproduces itself by sending out a long segmented stem and a new stem with leaves and flowers will grow from each segment. Hence it’s ability to reproduce at an astounding rate, creating either delight or exasperation to many a gardener. It is also known as periwinkle, running-myrtle, blue buttons, devil’s eye, joy on the ground and sorcerer’s violet.

Play with Being Present ~ Birds

Day 1 of  Playing with Being Present: Today’s theme is BIRDS

Mayan Daykeeper Imix has brought us back to the beginning of a new cycle of 20 days.
The essence of Imix is the beginning of a cycle. The start of one dividing into many & yet still being part of the one. Imix is the one. (Full info at bottom of post)

In this 20 day cycle you are invited to play with being present. Being in the present moment really means we are being conscious. Not in the past and not in the future. When we are in the present all the kvetching we do is not there. What you may notice is that kvetching/internal dialogue is about the past or the future.  Every day will bring a new theme with which to play. An invitation to experience being present for as short or as long as you like. This is not a test, perfection is an illusion and not the natural law. Natural law is imperfection, if you doubt this, I invite you to go into nature and find one perfect thing. There is perfection in imperfection. No matter what we play, sports, games or anything else, with repetition comes learning and improvement. So be gentle with yourself, this is not work, it is play. Have fun experiencing …….

What catalyzed this theme was the recent death of a Gabriolan, who was killed by a car while jogging. I met this person only once, just a few weeks ago, and yet can hardly picture him or have anything to share on my experience with him. I was present physically however not present mentally! Who knows what I was busying my mind with, or why I had split attention, the bottom line is I missed an opportunity to be present with him, unaware that this was my only opportunity to engage with him in this life time. What might I have learnt about him, what richness may he have brought to my life that day, what gifts were on offer with the interaction that I missed. It has sparked in me a resolve to focus on being present when I engage with people in the future, no matter what the circumstances. Now I know I’ll not always be successful, but as long as I continue to play with being present it will eventually just become my naturalness most of the time.

My intent is to open a space where you can experience different aspects of life and yourself in the present moment. The concept of ‘being present’ is bandied about, however how often have you actually taken the time to play with it, rather than it being yet another thing you’re supposed to do. So go and play. If you have a theme you’d like to suggest, please do.

Here are some questions to ponder after you’ve done playing with the theme for the day.
~ Does it differ from your usual experience?
~ Have you had a new awareness from this experience?
~ Do you want to play with this again, or did it suck?
~ Was there any value in this experience? What ….
~ Are you beating yourself up for not playing well? Be present with that, and see if you want to repeat the flogging, or might you find that being present with a wee bit of compassion for yourself feels good?

Play, play, play. This is not a test, not supposed to be hard. If it’s not fun don’t do it now, try playing again later.

Mayan Daykeeper Kawak ~ The essence of Kawak is immediate transformation. No heads up, sometimes a change that we don’t even notice happening, it just all of a sudden has happened.

You may experience Kawak
as an immediate shift in consciousness,
a powerful force or a loud violent noise.

On a day with Kawak as Daykeeper,
you are invited to acknowledge and respect life’s mysteries and
all that is beyond your power and control

Those born on a Kawak day
feel a part of something that is beyond normal consciousness.
Their deepest motivations often remain a mystery even to themselves.
