Recapitulation Totem Animal ~ Today’s Daykeeper is Muluk

Recapitulation Animal Totems sit in the North of the Animal Totem Medicine Wheel

Your Recapitulation animal helps you release your past history, wounds & adaptations. Enabling you to heal and walk in freedom, unconstrained by baggage from the past, or ways of moving in the world, that you took on, in order to survive.

Your Recapitulation Animal Totem
~ Helps you to see the truth, rather than your stories, or through your filters
~ Helps you to quiet your internal dialogue
~ Teaches you to gain wisdom
~ Helps you to respond rather than react to life
~ Helps you find hidden wounded pieces of yourself that are ready to be released
~ Illuminates pieces of your beauty & strength long forgotten
~ Supports you as you do the courageous work of healing yourself
~ Supports your journey into freedom from baggage
~ Is an ally on your healing journey, helping you to keep your internal & external emotional world clean

When we look at what else sits in the north of some other wheels what interconnections do you see?
~ Air
~ Wisdom and Knowledge
~ Animal Totems
~ Sacred Animals
~ Collective consciousness of the animals
~ Ingenuity
~ Cognition
~ Self-awareness
~ Intentionality
~ Receptive

What resonated or created an internal reaction? That tells you that there is something there that will inform you about yourself. You are at choice to investigate further or not.

When we’re in balance we Perceive the world and our experience without agenda or baggage. When Out of balance we Project onto our experience, our own dogma & past history colouring our experience of reality.

Animal totems are numerous and varied, beliefs about how many we have and what they do, are just as varied. I present what I have been taught and experienced. Trance drum journeys are a way to find your animal totems, be it just one or many. I facilitate drum journeys. Should you be interested in doing one, contact me & we’ll set up an appointment for this magickal experience.

So what are Totem Animals and why would you even want one? Animal Totems are animal spirit allies, on your journey in this lifetime. They give you advice when asked for, and answer questions you have. They can support you when you’re scared, help empower you, clarify things, show you the next step in your healing journey, walk with you as a trusted companion and more. There are 9 Animal Totems, one in the centre and 8 around your Animal Totem Medicine Wheel. Are they real animal spirits? Well I don’t think it matters one iota if they are or aren’t, what you imagine you create. Whatever you believe and experience is your truth. It is the wisdom & knowledge you get from them that matters, not whether you believe that it’s an animal spirit or a part of your own psyche.

Your interpretation and experience is your own. I can only share my personal understanding, I invite you to find your own truths and their relevance in your life. This is really important. Your interpretation and experience is your own. I can only share my personal understanding, I invite you to find your own truths and their relevance in your life. This is really important. On Sept 21st Mayan Daykeeper Imix brought us back to the beginning of a new cycle of 20 days. This cycle we are looking at creation through imagination. The relevant daily information on today’s Mayan Daykeeper is below todays musings.

We are creators of our lives, what we imagine we create.

We are looking at ‘The Twelve Imaginings’. The were given to Hyemeyohsts Storm by Estcheemah. She was a Zero Chief. Hyemeyohsts wrote these down in his book Lightningbolt. What is a Zero Chief? My understanding is the Zero chiefs were a secret group of people that keep the spiritual & healing knowledge of the Native Americans when it needed to go underground, to preserve it and keep it safe due to colonization. Now I could be wrong, but there it is, make of it what you will.

We will do an imagining a day for 2 days. On the third day I will add an imagining of my own. You are invited to add imaginings of  your own in the comments section on any day. On the 20th day of the cycle I will list all the imaginings that have been submitted.

I imagine that we learn about energy & how to use it, just like reading & writing (Michele’s imagining)

I invite you to sit with this imagining, and see what it means to you.

Here’s some of what it means to me:
~ All humans understand how to read energy
~ Energy work is no longer woo woo, it is mainstream
~ Our connection to the spirit realm is strong
~ We heal faster due to having more knowledge
~ Hearing messages from spirit is just another source of knowledge

Imaginings, Imagine, Create, Creator, mayan, daykeeper, ben, family, offspring, interdependent, responsibility, support, kindred, clan, kin, devotion, intimate, HEALINGthroughCEREMONY.com, Michele Fire-River Heart

Mayan Daykeeper Ben ~ The essence of Ben is our connection to our ancestral lines. Ben is that feeling of family, the warm cozy one. I know that is not true for all of you, however families are created in many ways, through blood, through choice, through friendship.  In all cases you have an opportunity to learn from your interactions with your families.  Ben holds the energy of interdependent family relationships not co-dependent ones.

Ben expresses in the human experience as
the awareness of family, including both ancestors and
the future potential of the family.

On a Ben day, there may be a general focus on the family
or other dependent relationships.
You may feel more intimate with others around you.
Be careful not to engage those close to you in obsolete family patterns.

Those born with Ben as their Daykeeper
are often responsible and devoted family members.
They may assume the responsibility of being the caretaker of the family

The Interconnection of Victory, Moon & Movement ~ Today’s Daykeeper is Muluk

Your interpretation and experience of these energies is your own. I can only share my personal understanding, I invite you to explore what they mean to you and their relevance in your life. This is really important. We gain nothing by ‘taking on’ others life experiences and beliefs. The juice and healing comes from within your own understanding, it is pivotal for your healing journey.

This cycle I am looking at the interconnection between The Twenty Great Teachers of Life and The Earth Count. Let’s see what their interconnection has to teach us. The relevant daily information on each energy is below todays musings.

The Interconnection of Victory, the Moon and Movement ~ Looking from the perspective of victory teaching you about the enemy within (read the ninth great teacher below, so that this makes sense), what is awareness, understanding and healing, but movement. Whenever we change there is movement. The moon shows us how movement is a natural part of life, and that there is an ebb and flow to all things. Using this knowledge with awareness of your own patterns of ebb and flow, gives you an edge in your ability to heal/change a pattern. Every smoker knows trying to quit when they are not ready is fruitless. Why? They are at the wrong point in their pattern for the greatest opportunity for success. When they absolutely want to quit, this is the point in the ebb and flow of their addictive pattern where the opportunity for success is greatest. We actually know this ebb and flow pattern well, how often do you hear ‘Don’t talk to …. until they’ve had their coffee.’, ‘I wouldn’t talk to … they are in a bad mood.’, ‘Don’t eat that, it is too old.’, ‘The car needs an oil change.’, and on the coast ‘It’s the perfect time for swimming, it’s high tide.’

Now interestingly enough the ‘best time’ in the ebb and flow cycle will actually change as you do. For instance (using one of my examples below), when first working on abundance mentality, it’s probably not the best time to start when you are in self pity. However once you have been working with this pattern for awhile, the goal is that when you are going into self pity will be the best time to practice abundance mentality. It’s a learning curve to heal/change a pattern just like anything else. So ease into healing/changing a pattern, be gentle and kind to yourself, and remember, mistakes are normal, without mistakes we learn nothing. Not sure I’m right? Talk to any scientist about mistakes, you will find they are pivotal to learning and ultimately leading to breakthroughs.

Should you choose to heal/change a pattern, may your experience be light like a butterfly.

Great Teachers, Victory, mayan, daykeeper, muluk, interconnection, interdependence, full moon, blue moon, healing through ceremony.com, michele fire-river heart

9 – The Ninth Great Teacher is Victory.
Victory teaches us respect for the enemy within.

Victory often associated with external competition, is also a victory of another kind. A victory over something within ourselves that we have healed, overcome, released. Victory shifts your paradigm of what is possible.

Now why does victory teach us respect for the enemy within. ‘Enemy within’, sounds a bit aggressive, but let’s look at the context of why that word is used, and then reframe it.
Here are a few of my examples (yours may be different, even working with the same energies):
~ Sobriety versus the enemy of escapism
~ Abundance versus the enemy of self pity
~ Accomplishment versus the enemy of a defeatist attitude
~ Empowerment versus the enemy of shame and blame
~ Acceptance versus the enemy of dissatisfaction
~ Not being at ‘the effect’ of others versus the enemy of ‘it’s all about me’
~ Engaging activity versus the enemy of lethargy
~ A happy disposition versus the enemy of internal dialogue indulgence
~ Feeling versus the enemy of hiding
~ Happiness now versus the enemy of living in the past or future
~ Intimacy versus the enemy of fear of betrayal
~ Confrontation versus the enemy of suppression of feelings
~ Self acceptance versus the enemy of ‘I can do better’
~ I am enough versus the enemy of I need more healing
~ Healthy eating versus the enemy of emotional eating.
~ Graciousness versus the enemy of dismissing success
~ The joy of success versus the enemy of moving on to the next thing
~ Satisfaction versus the enemy of futurizing
~ Positive measure of self worth versus the enemy of picking at what I could have done better

So I don’t know about you, but as soon as I hear enemy, my negative warrior self goes into battle mode. Heeeyaaa Sheera leaps out sword blazing. Trouble is she will slice and dice me, which I have found out is pretty unpleasant and not successful to changing any pattern. So I prefer to think of these energies as strategies I use/used to survive past experiences. Or sometimes it was what was mirrored to me as a child, and I took it on, as my own way of being. When one of them gets my attention on a regular basis, I know I am ready to let that strategy or pattern of behaviour go. If I choose to treat myself kindly, coaching myself with compassion, things go much better, and victory is assured without needing to go to the trauma ward. If it is something that is overwhelming to you,  professional help may be prudent, in whatever form works for you.

So may all your negative warrior selves stay asleep, and your positive warrior selves be on point, gently coaching you through your day. Have an empowered, healing day.

The moon moves the tides of the earth, the tidal waters & the blood within all things.

The essence of Muluk is the interdependence & connection between all things

9 – Muluk    and    9 – Moon and Movement. The moon moves the tides of the earth, the tidal waters & the blood within all things (Hyemeyohsts Storm’s Earth Count)

Interdependence & connection between things sounds like we have interconnection to me. Interesting I never thought about the moon affecting my blood. I’ve thought about the moon affecting me, but not in that way. Hmmmm a Google search is in order. Well some say yes some say no. As our science evolves perhaps we will know one way or the other. I have noticed many things that were purported by ancient wisdom were/are poo pooed by science and yet are now being proven to be true. What I think we can say is true, is that our psyche, our hearts & souls love the full moon, there is magic there. As I sat at Drumbeg Park this Saturday night while the full moon was rising and the drummers were drumming, there was no doubt that the moon was affecting us. Regardless of any scientific evidence we love the moon, who cares why, it just is!

Here’s a photo of a full blue moon one year taken at Orlebar Point. It seemed like it was a gazillion times closer and bigger, an interesting phenomenon indeed.

I offer full moon rituals, let’s co-create a powerful ritual together. Contact link.
