Tarot: 11 ~ Strength (aka The Balanced Alchemist: Mayan Tarot)

HINT ~ You’ve done your emotional healing work, today is one of those ‘Damn I rock!’ days. Go enjoy your beauty and power.

CURRENT BLOG THEME
– Tarot a tool to use intuitively, for you to discern what today’s message is. What to pay attention to, due to the energy presented by the card and as a means of self exploration.
I pull a tarot card every day with the intent that the card is for whomever is called to read my blog that day. Due to honouring copyright I will not be posting a photo of the card but instead I will post a photo of something that resonates as a mirror for that card. It is up to you, to interpret what the photo’s message is for you each day.

Play with tarot be your own best teacher
What intuitive messages are you hearing today?

Two ways you can do with this.
1) Focus on the photo and your breath, if the message comes from your belly it is usually your intuition, if it comes from your mind, well ego is probably present. So focus on your breath and the card, do your best to stay out of your head and see what comes.
2) Look at the photo, really focus on it, burn it into your retinas, especially parts that catch your attention more. Then go about your day with the intent to see and hear messages.
That’s it, see what comes, play have fun, this is not work, no seriousness please. Trust and be gentle with yourself, going through the process even if you don’t feel like you have gotten a message is still a success.

IN DEPTH PROCESS
~ Set your intent to play with this, rather than it being all serious with a pass or fail mentality.  Intuition takes practice.
~ Set your intent to hear the intuitive messages from spirit that you get today from being present with the photo above.
~ Find a quiet place to be present with the photo. (If the kids are running around the room you’re in, forget about it, find another room)
~ Breathe deeply for a few moments, focussing on your breath. This will bring you into a more balanced intuitive state. If your internal dialogue kicks up that’s okay, just notice it and let it pass on through your mind not engaging with it, and focus on your breath again.
~ Notice what attracts you about the photo. As a symbol what does this mean to you and your life walk?
~ Notice any ‘thoughts, images, colours’ that pop up not from your brain, but rather from your gut or elsewhere. (If it’s from your brain that is your ego chatting away, trying to distract you from hearing your intuition.)
~ What do those thoughts, colours, images mean as symbols or otherwise to you specifically and your life?
~ Right them down. Then you have them and can ponder on them any time you want during the day.
~ If nothing comes, do not, I repeat do not beat yourself up, this is playtime remember. Go about your day, something may pop up during the day unexpectedly. If not, no matter, there’s another photo coming tomorrow to play with.  Intuition takes practice.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Your interpretation and experience is your own. I can only share my personal understanding, I invite you to find your own truths and their relevance in your life. This is really important. If something resonates great, if not chuck it out. We gain nothing by ‘taking on’ others life experiences and beliefs. The juice and healing comes from within your own understanding, it is pivotal for your healing journey and manifesting what you want.
Mayan Daykeeper Etz’nab ~ The essence of Etz’nab is letting go. Releasing what needs to go in order to birth something new. Sometimes this will be dramatic other times gentle, either way change is the order of the day.
When present, Etz’Nab may stimulate
a powerful awakening to anger and the need for change.
It can appear as rage or the destruction of an old form.
Through sudden events and changes,
Etz’nab may provoke you to be more present in the moment.
Etz’nab days provide an opportunity to detach from
obsolete motivations and future expectations.
You may want to voluntarily arrive in the present moment.
Recognize that when someone or something outside you
appears to interrupt you by demanding your attention,
you are being invited into the moment.
Those born with Etz’nab as their Daykeeper
are people who recognize and express the need for change.
Their actions often challenge the status quo and
can create change for themselves and others.
Yup no relevance what so ever after the last 48 hrs in BC! Gratitude to the gentleman with the chainsaw that cut through fallen trees which were keeping us trapped in a section of North Rd. Gratitude to all the donators, donations and volunteers that are making  ‘Spirit Feast 2018’ preparations so all Gabriolans will be able to have a Holiday dinner on Christmas Day (And no I didn’t pull this on purpose, the universe did)
~ Your attraction to another may culminate in some yummy sex today.
~ No partner, well have some yummy sex on your own.
~ You may also be especially sensitive to the magnetic energy of others today.
Play with it . . . . .  learn the patterns of magnetic energy, it is a valuable tool in determining who you decide to share your inner circle with. Whether friends or lovers, their energy is something you will be engaging with. Is this person’s energy beneficial to you, or detrimental? Would you allow a person who physically hurts you to stay in your circle, would you allow a person with predominantly negative energy to stay in your circle (We all have moments, but some have negative energy most of the time)? Energy has magnetic components what energy do you wish to play in?
I have let go of the Mayan Daykeepers as a basis for my posts. I pull a major arcana tarot card every day from the Mayan Xultun Tarot Deck by Peter Balin. Due to honouring copyright I will not be posting a photo of the card but instead I will post a photo of something that resonates as a mirror for that card. It is up to you, to interpret what the photo’s message is for you each day.  Let’s play with tarot. See what your intuitive messages are.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Your interpretation and experience is your own. I can only share my personal understanding, I invite you to find your own truths and their relevance in your life. This is really important. If something resonates great, if not chuck it out. We gain nothing by ‘taking on’ others life experiences and beliefs. The juice and healing comes from within your own understanding, it is pivotal for your healing journey and manifesting what you want.

Mayan Daykeeper Etz’nab ~ The essence of Etz’nab is letting go. Releasing what needs to go in order to birth something new. Sometimes this will be dramatic other times gentle, either way change is the order of the day.

When present, Etz’Nab may stimulate
a powerful awakening to anger and the need for change.
It can appear as rage or the destruction of an old form.
Through sudden events and changes,
Etz’nab may provoke you to be more present in the moment.

Etz’nab days provide an opportunity to detach from
obsolete motivations and future expectations.
You may want to voluntarily arrive in the present moment.
Recognize that when someone or something outside you
appears to interrupt you by demanding your attention,
you are being invited into the moment.

Those born with Etz’nab as their Daykeeper
are people who recognize and express the need for change.
Their actions often challenge the status quo and
can create change for themselves and others.

~ Your connection with nature affords you a whole cornucopia of wisdom to draw on.

Tarot: 8 of Cups

8 of Cups  . . . . .
~ Today is a day to dive deep into your psyche. A ‘me’ day, a day for self reflection.
~ You are ready to birth something new, it just needs some tweaking. An adjustment of your vision.
~ Birthing something new can be exciting and challenging all at the same time.
~ Do not hang on to some vision that is not working out of stubbornness, release the pieces that no longer serve you to make space for the pieces that will move you forward.
~ It is impossible to know all the steps that you are going to take to create something. Focus on the intent of your dream, the positive aspects that are the reason you are creating the dream in the first place. Create the framework and allow the law of attraction to colour in the lines. The opportunities will present themselves and the steps will fill in as your dream unfolds and manifests.
~ Think I’m full of crap, (well it’s always possible I am, however ….) reflect back on a dream that you have already created, were the steps towards creating your goal the same as the ones you imagine they would be?

Semelparity: It is when an organism only reproduces once, then dies. Kurunji (Strobilanthes lanatus) is such a plant. It lives for 13 years then the entire species produces flowers than masses of seeds and dies worldwide. This was a new one to me. Isn’t the world just a never ending opportunity for surprises, I love that. So from the website stuff an article written by Russell Fransham.

Of all the seasons spring brings our attention to the plant world the most, from my perspective. So for this 20 day cycle I’m going to find a plant, tree, herb, etc that illuminates or holds the energy of the daily Daykeeper. Let’s explore together.

Today’s Mayan Daykeeper is Etz’nab~ The essence of Etz’nab is letting go. Releasing what needs to go in order to birth something new. Sometimes this will be dramatic other times gentle, either way change is the order of the day. (Full info at bottom of post)

~ What are you waiting to birth?
~ What is inhibiting you from birthing this?
~ What are you ready to let go of to move another step closer to what you want to birth?

Spring Equinox Releasing and Rebirthing Ceremony
Intent: To release whatever is no longer serving you and to rebirth what you most desire in your life.

Materials Needed:

  • 1 large sheet of paper (or tape several pieces of paper together) or use a sheet of poster board
  • 1 regular sized piece of paper
  • Pen, marker, or coloured felt pens
  • Candle, candle holder, and lighter Smudge

~ Find a comfortable place indoors or a sheltered space outdoors to do this ceremony.
~ Gather all your ceremonial materials together.
~ Begin by smudging yourself and your space.
~ Light the candle and send some prayers to honour the return of the light and the rebirthing of new life.
~ Then state your personal intent for this ceremony.

~ Draw an outline of your physical body on the large sheet of paper. It doesn’t need to be perfect or even artistic but it does need to include your entire body.

~ Gaze into the light of the candle and ask yourself:
What emotional patterns are holding me back?
~ Draw a symbol (or write the words) with pen or coloured markers to represent every old emotional pattern you are ready to release. Make these markings over the part of your body where they most impact you.

Example: If you have been burying your feelings of anger instead of speaking up for yourself, you might draw a shovel and you might want to draw it on your mouth or throat or heart. Remember this is not a mental process. Ask your body for the symbol or word and the colour to draw it in and the location on the drawing of your body to place it. Continue until all the old emotional patterns have been recorded on your drawing.

~ Then gaze into the light and ask yourself:
What mental patterns or negative thoughts are harming me?
~ Draw a symbol (or write the words) with pen or coloured markers to represent every old mental pattern you are ready to release. Make these markings over the part of your body where they most impact you and continue until all the old mental patterns have been recorded.

~ Repeat this method of looking into the light, asking the questions and recording all the old patterns you are ready to slough off, asking yourself: What physical patterns or personal destructive behaviours are harming me? What spiritual patterns or personal behaviours of isolating and separating are harming me?
What sexual (or Life Force) patterns are harming my energy or my sense of self?

~ When complete with all 5 directions, you should have many drawings and words on your paper. Look them over carefully. See the ones that have caused you the most harm.

~ Put your hand on your heart and speak any self-forgiveness you need to do. Speak it aloud and with kindness from your heart (not your brain!). Do this until you feel a sense of releasing within your body. If there is anything that needs to be cut away, pull it energetically out from your body, cut the energy with the knife edge of your other hand and throw it completely out of your energy field saying, “I cut that _____ away from me now, across all lifetimes.”

~ When complete, gaze into the light of the candle again and find 3 things you desire to bring fully into the light over the next few months, creating a positive statement of your clear determination and commitment for each one (Write these three statements on your second piece of paper.)

Examples: I will speak whatever needs to be spoken in order to respect myself. I will notice the things that give me real pleasure and put more of them in my life.
Whenever I feel stressed I will stop and ask myself what I can do differently.

~ When you have all three statements written down to your satisfaction, find a safe place to burn your first paper. This could be outside in a large metal can, a fire pit or an indoor fireplace or woodstove. Watch the light of the flames consume all this harm completely.

~ Find a place to put your paper with the 3 statements of commitment so that you will be able to see it frequently over the next 3 months (until the summer soltice). You might put it on your bedside table or on the fridge with a magnet. Or you might even want to create an altar with the 3 statements in the centre.

Mayan Daykeeper Imix  brought us back to the beginning of a new cycle of 20 days at the end of which is …… SPRING the season of new growth. We are a part of nature and nature has the ability to transform and grow with incredible speed in Spring. With that in mind we’re playing with the Mayan Daykeepers in this 20 day cycle to begin our own journey into Spring, fresh and rejuvenated, rearing to go.

Playing with Being Present ~ Showering

Today’s Mayan Daykeeper is Etz’nab~ The essence of Etz’nab is letting go. Releasing what needs to go in order to birth something new. Sometimes this will be dramatic other times gentle, either way change is the order of the day. (Full info at bottom of post)

Day 18 of  Playing with Being Present: Today’s theme is SHOWERING – Be one with the water droplets. Here on Gabriola even more so, as a lot of us are so careful with this precious resource. Showering can be an event some days, especially in the summer when wells can run dry by May or June. Enjoy the water droplets while ye may! Feel them caress your body, it may be the most ‘action’ you get that day ……

play, being present, showering, mayan, daykeeper, Etz'nab, Anger, change, letting go, destruction, shatter, recreate, create, healing through ceremony, michele fire-river heart

Here are some questions to ponder after you’ve done playing with the theme for the day.
~ Does it differ from your usual experience?
~ Have you had a new awareness from this experience?
~ Do you want to play with this again, or did it suck?
~ Was there any value in this experience? What ….
~ Are you beating yourself up for not playing well? Be present with that, and see if you want to repeat the flogging, or might you find that being present with a wee bit of compassion for yourself feels good?

Play, play, play. This is not a test, not supposed to be hard. If it’s not fun don’t do it now, try playing again later.

In this 20 day cycle you are invited to play with being present. Being in the present moment really means we are being conscious. Not in the past and not in the future. When we are in the present all the kvetching we do is not there. What you may notice is  that kvetching/internal dialogue is about the past or the future.  Every day will bring a new theme with which to play. An invitation to experience being present for as short or as long as you like. This is not a test, perfection is an illusion and not the natural law. Natural law is imperfection, if you doubt this, I invite you to go into nature and find one perfect thing. There is perfection in imperfection. No matter what we play, sports, games or anything else, with repetition comes learning and improvement. So be gentle with yourself, this is not work, it is play. Have fun experiencing …….

Your interpretation and experience is your own. I can only share my personal understanding, I invite you to find your own truths and their relevance in your life. This is really important. If something resonates great, if not chuck it out. We gain nothing by ‘taking on’ others life experiences and beliefs. Dreaming for Balance: Ruthless Compassion

Day 18 of  Dreaming for Balancetrance dream, day dream, meditate, dream, dreaming, dream interpretation, mayan, daykeeper, Etz'nab, Anger, change, letting go, destruction, shatter, recreate, create, healing through ceremony, michele fire-river heart
Today’s theme is RUTHLESS COMPASSION. I just love these flowers – Ghost Sea Holly

The word dreaming refers to our sleeping dreams and the awake dreamtime, our life when our physical bodies are awake. We are the creators of both.

Today’s Mayan Daykeeper is Etz’nab~ The essence of Etz’nab is letting go. Releasing what needs to go in order to birth something new. Sometimes this will be dramatic other times gentle, either way change is the order of the day. (Full info at bottom of post)

In this 20 day cycle you are invited to use Trance Dreams/Day-dreams which occur through intent or sometimes spontaneously through meditation as a discovery tool. Every day You are invited to play with the theme presented. You may choose to intend on having a new awareness around this theme that day and just allow your subconscious mind to present you with an awareness during the day, or you may choose to do a meditation on the theme and see what comes. You may choose to do nothing and that’s okay too. Whatever you choose, I invite you to not make this ‘work’ but rather something to play with, something to explore. What you do with your findings? …… Well you decide the answer to that one.

The daily themes may be used to illuminate different aspects of your ego; the places where your masked ego is ‘on point’ and the places where your ego has become the transcended ego. Uncovering the masks that you took on to survive, and the places where you have taken off your mask and discovered the beauty of impermanence.

Impermanence is the nature of reality. Everything is impermanent, plants, animals, rocks, our bodies, Grandmother Earth, stars, our moods, and yes even our ego. Living in Impermanence is the state of being that is called the transcended ego. As you heal and change, integrating impermanence into your life, you gain freedom. Living from a place of impermanence, you are no longer at the Effect of Life and Others. You stand in the moment and take action, flexible and in control of your choices.

In everything there are positive and negative energies. The masked and transcended ego are just the ying and yang of that particular energy we call the ego. Neither is right or wrong, they are both just states of being where you can understand and learn more about yourself. With that understanding you are at choice, what action you take is up to you.

There are many types of dreams for various reasons. Some of which are Recapitulation Dreams which provide information for us to problem solve issues and questions about our daily lives. Prophetic dreams which give us information about the future. Trance Dreams/Day-dreams which occur through intent or sometimes spontaneously through meditation. Epic Dreams that show us other worlds, some are life changing and some magickal. The ultimate dream goal, is the Power Dream, where we have gained enough knowledge and ability to control our sleeping dream in order to manifest what we will in both the sleeping and awake dreams.

Dreaming Day 18 with Daykeeper Etz’nab

Tonight’s dream intent will be working with Etz’nab ~ The essence of Etz’nab is letting go. Releasing what needs to go in order to birth something new. Sometimes this will be dramatic other times gentle, either way change is the order of the day.

Your dream intent is something that is relevant to your life that you wish an answer for.
For example with Etz’nab: “My dream intent is to see a one thing I need to release right now”
There is information on the process starting at the asterisks *** below.

Dreaming is one of the ways we get information and messages that we can use to manifest our realities in this lifetime. The word dreaming refers to our sleeping dreams and the awake dreamtime, our life when our physical bodies are awake. We are the creators of both.
~ What did you dream about last night?
~ Did you remember your dream?
~ Did you glean anything from your dream?
~ Did you forgive yourself if you didn’t remember your dream?
Please feel free to share in the comments section.

In our current 20 day cycle you are invited to explore and start to train your ability of dreaming. Each evening before you fall asleep set an intent based on the essence of the Daykeeper present that day, each morning you will interpret your dream for a message.  There may be many messages in a dream, however let’s do baby steps. The most important thing to remember is NO-ONE can interpret your dream for you. I don’t care how many books or people say otherwise and here’s why. Dreams teach you through symbolism, your symbolism. If you see a horse in your dream, what does the symbol of a horse represent to you? A horse will represent many different things as a symbol to different people. So if someone else interprets your dream, you are getting their interpretation of the symbols in your dream from their perspective not yours. I don’t know about you, but I find no relevance in that.

Your dream creation, Your symbols, Your interpretation, affecting Your life.

dream, dreaming, dream interpretation, mayan, daykeeper, Etz'nab, Anger, change, letting go, destruction, shatter, recreate, create, healing through ceremony, michele fire-river heart

Here are some steps that may help, use what you wish or don’t use any, it’s up to you. Most importantly if you do not remember a dream that’s perfectly okay, there are days we remember and days we don’t. Be gentle with yourselves this is not a test, it’s an exploration. Exploring doesn’t always result in finding the pot of gold, sometimes the end of that darn rainbow is just elusive and that’s the way it goes. Have fun.

*** DREAM INTERPRETATION PROCESS
Before you go to sleep
~ Put a pen and paper next to your bed for easy access
~ Set an intent based on the current Daykeeper. Something that is relevant to your life that you want an answer for.
~ Write it down on you paper
~ Say it out loud just before you fall asleep

In the morning or any time you wake during the night. As you are waking up, in that time when you are aware of the dream and waking up
~ Intentionally remember as much of the dream as you can
~ Write down as much as you can using double line spacing, including how you felt/feel, emotions, colours, smells, etc. Write it as it comes, do not go into your head analyzing if it makes sense or is coherent, just write
~ Using your extra line spacing to write in, write down your interpretation of what each word means to you symbolically
~ When complete look for meaning, a message within your interpreted writing. Just one, finding all the messages and meanings can be overwhelming to start. If nothing makes sense, see if a certain word, symbol, feeling, emotion, smell or colour that jumps out and go from there. There is no right or wrong here, if you feel it’s relevant then it is. If nothing comes don’t stress or beat yourself up, just leave it for now and go about your day.
~ Ask for more of the dream or meaning be revealed to you during your day.

Other questions that may help:
~ What was my intent?
~ What is the feeling of the dream?
~ What is the general energy of the dream?
~ What was the most important object in the dream?
~ How does this dream relate to my intent?
~ Is there a symbol that sticks out from the rest? What does it represent to me in relation to my intent?

There are many types of dreams for various reasons. Some of which are Recapitulation Dreams which provide information for us to problem solve issues and questions about our daily lives. Prophetic dreams which give us information about the future. Trance Dreams/Day-dreams which occur through intent or sometimes spontaneously through meditation.
