Chik’chan is present today (Mayan Daykeeper)

Chik’chan helps you come back into balance. Staying in balance all the time, is not realistic for us humans. I believe the goal is to be in balance most of the time, & when you get out of balance be disciplined enough to use your strategies to bring yourself back into balance.

Sounds simple enough, however what I have learnt is that my ability to come back into balance is in direct relation to how out of balance I am. If I go away on a trip, which for me is quite stressful, it takes me much longer to come back into balance when I get home, than if I say use sugar for a few days. Being self aware to your own patterns & strategies is the key to success, along with gentle loving kindness to yourself. You are doing the best you can in each moment, and sometimes it doesn’t look pretty and that’s okay.

Chik’chan invites us to use nature as a balancing agent. No matter how upset I am, if I go into nature I feel better. Living on gorgeous Gabriola we all have the luxury of a few steps & we’re there. So today I invite you to go into nature consciously, be it a forest, a park or your own backyard. Note how you feel before & after, take a moment before going back into your day to absorb this feeling into your body. Just one more gift from Grandmother Earth, and I for one am grateful.

Here’s a video I found, of a day where I was stressed and decided to eat lunch at Clark’s Bay. The taping isn’t brilliant, I was learning to using a video camera back then, but it get’s the point across.

The essence of Chik’chan is primal nature in all it’s naturalness. Simple instinct & knowing, when being in alignment with our true nature.

If you have been following my blog the information below is a repeat. Previous Chik’chan days this year Jan 8th, 28th, Feb 17th, March 9th, 29th, April 18th, May 8th, 28th

Chik’chan’s prescence may be experienced as a sensitivity to nature in its simplicity.
With this comes an ability to correct what has been altered from its natural state.
This is done to return to a relaxed state of being.
Your conscious awareness is then clear and uncomplicated.
Chik’chan days are good for accessing the deeper instincts of human nature.
Try doing something with your eyes closed or in the dark.
Distinguish between the fears that genuinely warn you of danger and those that complicate your life and keep you from trusting your true desires.

Those born with Chik’chan as their Daykeeper have a sensitivity to the simplicity within all things. They possess the ability to realign with the natural flow.
This can be done for themselves as well as for others.
They have the potential to be a healer when this ability is trusted and developed.

It’s a Chik’chan Day (Mayan Daykeeper)

The essence of Chik’chan is primal nature in all it’s naturalness. Simple instinct & knowing, when being in alignment with our true nature.

I  don’t know about you, but when I’m in nature I tend to be far more aware of all the sounds, sights & smells. I immediately become more in tune with my primal instincts, & in order to thrive in nature I need to be more in alignment with nature. When I used to be afraid of bees for example, goodness what a fuss. It wasn’t until I saw my little child mimic me that I started working on that fear, so as to not imprint it on her. Now bees, mayan daykeeper chik'chan, primal instinct, intuition, medicine, dolphin animal totem, HypnoArt, Pikabay, Healingthroughceremony.com, michele fire-river heartwasps, etc can land on me & everything is okay, they land, sniff me I imagine and move on. Hmmm I wonder if I’m still allergic to bee stings or if I was allergic because of my fear, not that I want to test that theory universe, thank you very much.

We can cross train this behaviour into our everyday lives, accentuating our ability to respond in any environment. So let your animal nature out folks, stalk out a wonderful Sunday for yourselves.

Mayan Daykeeper Men

The essence of Men, is fundamentally having the ability to envision, focus and manifest an abundant life in all aspects.

As humans we are always learning. One of the fundamental principles I have learned is that thoughts are electrical and emotions are magnetic. So if you wish to manifest a new home for example, and you envision it every day, while believing that what you want is impossible. Guess what the universe responds to? It responds magnetically to the belief of ‘it’s impossible’ as that’s where the emotion is. If you envision that home while feeling the happy emotions that will accompany manifesting that goal, the universe will again respond to those emotions and help you manifest it. I say help as you also need to take actions towards the goal. Action+intention=manifestation.  Thought+emotion=manifestation

My manifestation 3 years ago. My magical cottage in the forest by the ocean, adorned with snow this last winter. I am happy & grateful.

As with all things find your own truth. What resonates use, what doesn’t discard.

If you have been following my blog the information below is a repeat from our last Men day, Friday 28th April.

Men often manifests as a new idea or vision.
With this comes the ability to recognize a new goal or desire
and opportunities not apparent to others.
Men may visit you with a clear vision
of your potential for wealth and well-being.
On Men’s day, you can benefit by visualizing your true desires.
Be open to new ideas and unexpected insights.
Take the steps to advance your wealth and well-being.

Those born with Men as their Daykeeper
are natural producers and visionaries.
They can envision and bring together
the resources needed for the manifestation
of something larger than themselves,
something that involves the work and input of many people.

THE MAYAN DAYKEEPERS

The Mayan Daykeepers are spiritual beings with an archetypal energy within cycles of the Tzol’Kin or Mayan astrology. There are 20 Daykeepers each one presenting different energies & assigned to be present on certain days of the year. Rotating in a twenty day cycle.

I have found that having an awareness of which Daykeeper is present on any particular day, informs me about the active energy present that day. In this way I have more ease, fluidity & healing in my journey.

I offer a snipit of the knowledge presented in the book Mayan Calendar Voice of the Galaxy by Raymond Mardyks and Stacia Alana-Leah. They present comprehensive information on the way the calendar works, the energetics of the Daykeepers, the iconography of each Daykeeper, the symbol of each Daykeeper, meditations with the Daykeepers, as well as your personal birth Daykeeper.

Mayan Daykeeper Chik’chan

The essence of Chik’chan is primal nature in all it’s naturalness. Simple instinct & knowing, when being in alignment with our true nature.

When nature has a blanket of snow, tracks are really easy to see. So to if our minds are cleared of internal dialogue, our intuition is easier to hear.

Today is a good day to practice your intuition. Follow those ‘gut feelings’ and whispers from the heartspace. Intuition like any skill gets better with practice. Be gentle with yourself, you are doing the best you can in each moment.

I chose this beautiful Pieris Japonica as today’s photo because of the way it’s new leaves come out red and then transition to green. For me it’s a wonderful metaphor for using our intuition. When starting to work with our intuition we “Flame on our intuition”. The more we practice the more it becomes part of our nature. Residing in our heart space, our 4th chakra which is represented by the colour green.
