Tarot: 18 ~ The Moon (aka The Magikal Self: Mayan Tarot)

In case we didn’t get it a few days ago, the universe has given us another nudge.
HINT ~ The magic is in you, you need no-one to create a life for you. You are the observer and creator.

CURRENT BLOG THEME
– Tarot a tool to use intuitively, for you to discern what today’s message is. What to pay attention to, due to the energy presented by the card and as a means of self exploration.
I pull a tarot card every day with the intent that the card is for whomever is called to read my blog that day. Due to honouring copyright I will not be posting a photo of the card but instead I will post a photo of something that resonates as a mirror for that card. It is up to you, to interpret what the photo’s message is for you each day.

Play with tarot be your own best teacher
What intuitive messages are you hearing today?

Two ways you can do with this.
1) Focus on the photo and your breath, if the message comes from your belly it is usually your intuition, if it comes from your mind, well ego is probably present. So focus on your breath and the card, do your best to stay out of your head and see what comes.
2) Look at the photo, really focus on it, burn it into your retinas, especially parts that catch your attention more. Then go about your day with the intent to see and hear messages.
That’s it, see what comes, play have fun, this is not work, no seriousness please. Trust and be gentle with yourself, going through the process even if you don’t feel like you have gotten a message is still a success.

IN DEPTH PROCESS
~ Set your intent to play with this, rather than it being all serious with a pass or fail mentality.  Intuition takes practice.
~ Set your intent to hear the intuitive messages from spirit that you get today from being present with the photo above.
~ Find a quiet place to be present with the photo. (If the kids are running around the room you’re in, forget about it, find another room)
~ Breathe deeply for a few moments, focussing on your breath. This will bring you into a more balanced intuitive state. If your internal dialogue kicks up that’s okay, just notice it and let it pass on through your mind not engaging with it, and focus on your breath again.
~ Notice what attracts you about the photo. As a symbol what does this mean to you and your life walk?
~ Notice any ‘thoughts, images, colours’ that pop up not from your brain, but rather from your gut or elsewhere. (If it’s from your brain that is your ego chatting away, trying to distract you from hearing your intuition.)
~ What do those thoughts, colours, images mean as symbols or otherwise to you specifically and your life?
~ Right them down. Then you have them and can ponder on them any time you want during the day.
~ If nothing comes, do not, I repeat do not beat yourself up, this is playtime remember. Go about your day, something may pop up during the day unexpectedly. If not, no matter, there’s another photo coming tomorrow to play with.  Intuition takes practice.

Your interpretation and experience is your own. I can only share my personal understanding, I invite you to find your own truths and their relevance in your life. This is really important. If something resonates great, if not chuck it out. We gain nothing by ‘taking on’ others life experiences and beliefs. The juice and healing comes from within your own understanding, it is pivotal for your healing journey and manifesting what you want.

Mayan Daykeeper Kaban ~ Kaban’s essence is the human mind, it’s processes & abilities. Plasticity, the positive & negative effects of thought, computational ability.

Kaban may be experienced as mental cleansing,
possibly mental clarity, and, often, mental overwhelm.
On a Kaban day, you may clear your mind
by watching the movement and content of your thinking
without attachment or judgement.
This will enable you to think more clearly
and focus your thoughts on a higher level of consciousness.

Those born with Kaban as their Daykeeper
tend to have unique mental abilities
with a potential to be clear thinkers.
Those talents can be used to access higher levels of consciousness
and effectively resolve conflicts and complex problems.

Tarot: Page of Swords

Page of Swords . . . . .
~ So yesterday you found a pathway through internal confusion, today is a day for action.
~ It is easy to be very busy figuring things out, but if you look at how your life unfolds it’s usually a big fat waste of time. All our planning often results in just wasting a lot of time planning. Trust me I got a doctorate in not acting until I thought I had everything perfect. Well firstly ‘perfect’ is a load of crap, secondly nothing goes as planned. Change is the only constant in the world, and no matter how much we resist that truth, it is still the truth and I don’t often say that.
~ So just take a first  step, it always leads to a second, a third,  etc. The beauty of doing it this way is that when you take step 6 let’s say, it’s actually in relation to what’s happening, not what you imagined would happen.
~ So make a loosey goosey plan, and jump in.
~ Change and mistakes are normal, it’s how we react  to them that makes all the difference.

Tarot: Warrior of Jades

Warrior of Jades (a.k.a. Knight of Pentacles)  . . . . .
This is gender neutral we all have the masculine with in us
~ Earth energy is present, Jades is all about that energy.
~ You are manifesting well from a grounded place, an excellent day to continue or start a new project or endeavour.
~ Your energy is great through regular practice that works for you – yoga, meditation, gardening alone, quiet walks in nature. You’ve learnt how to take a time out from your itty, shitty, bitty committee/monkey mind/internal dialogue on a daily basis.
~ You know what you want and are accomplishing it, whooooo hooooo way to go!

To Ponder . . . . .
~ Are you thinking …… you’re full of crap Michele I don’t feel that way at all?
~ What one thing are you willing to commit to doing, to shift your energy?
~ When are you committing to yourself to do that?
~ What gift are you going to give yourself for following through on your commitment?
This doesn’t have to be a gift that costs money, just something to mark your success that you will enjoy, or will have meaning for you. When I was working on maintaining sobriety I would put a bead on a string after every successful day. I now have a ‘Sobriety Tree’ full of beautiful strings of beads. It is important for you to mark your successes when breaking old patterns.

Tarot: Servant of Staffs

Servant of Staffs (a.k.a. Page of Wands)  . . . . .
~ You’re on fire today, overjoyed with who you are
~ Run, dance, sing, just enjoy feeling good
~ Transition and change will be smooth today
~ Anchor this energy in you, these feelings, this being in ‘the zone’, creating a magnetic attraction energy for your desires
PROCESS

WHAT IS THIS POST ABOUT – I pull a tarot card every day from the Mayan Xultun Tarot Deck by Peter Balin. Due to honouring copyright I do not post a photo of the card but instead I post a photo of something that resonates as a mirror for that card, from my perspective. It is up to you, to interpret what the photo’s message is for you each day. Play with tarot, see what your intuitive messages are.

Tarot: Lord of Cups

Lord of Cups (a.k.a. The King of Cups)  . . . . .

~ You may also choose to share it with yourself in the mirror, yup in the mirror, the only person that will see it, is the most important person in the world …… YOU!

Interconnection of Plant communication & Mayan Daykeeper Kaban

Plant Communication is akin to the energy of Kaban ~ Kaban’s essence is the human mind, it’s processes & abilities. Plasticity, the positive & negative effects of thought, computational ability. (Full info at bottom of post)

Well heck this challenging. Okay I’m going with plants ability to consciously do things. A ‘Nature’ documentary video ‘How Plants Communicate‘, has much to share on plants abilities to do things consciously.  Some of the video touches on things I have already touched on in previous posts, but there’s lots of new interesting (well from my point of view anyway) information on them that I find fascinating. The part where they get into plant intelligence starts at 13 mins 30 secs. Get a’cuppa …… settle in and have your mind blown by how many similarities there are in plant and animal behaviour.

Of all the seasons spring brings our attention to the plant world the most, from my perspective. So for this 20 day cycle I’m going to find a plant, tree, herb, etc that illuminates or holds the energy of the daily Daykeeper. Let’s explore together.

Burst into Spring rejuvenated … Play with Mayan Daykeeper Kaban today

Today’s Mayan Daykeeper is Kaban ~ Kaban’s essence is the human mind, it’s processes & abilities. Plasticity, the positive & negative effects of thought, computational ability. (Full info at bottom of post)

So it’s a great day to place your awareness on just watching with neutrality your Itty Bitty Shitty Committee/Monkey Mind/Internal Dialogue. The mind’s plasticity is a wonderful thing, mental patterns can be un-patterned. So take today to just watch and listen without judgement or criticism your ego’s ongoing chatter in your head. Should you wish to change that chatter then at the end of the day or tomorrow make a strategy to start changing it.

Below is one of my strategies, find your own to unwind whatever it is that needs to be released.

I tend to get irritated, frustrated, angry at blips in my daily routine. As every negative emotion hurts one’s heart I have taken to saying a mantra to back off from the irritation, frustration, anger. When I notice that any of these are happening I take a deep breath and remind myself …. ‘Irritation Hurts My Heart’ ….. ‘Frustration Hurts My Heart’ …… ‘Anger Hurts My Heart’, and it’s working. My frustration/irritation/anger levels are dropping, my days are calmer. It is after all, just a pattern that is so ingrained in me that it’s a reflex action at this point. I can unwind this pattern and support my heart with positive emotions.

Mayan Daykeeper Imix  brought us back to the beginning of a new cycle of 20 days at the end of which is …… SPRING the season of new growth. We are a part of nature and nature has the ability to transform and grow with incredible speed in Spring. With that in mind we’re playing with the Mayan Daykeepers in this 20 day cycle to begin our own journey into Spring, fresh and rejuvenated, rearing to go.

Playing with Being Present ~ Driving

Today’s Mayan Daykeeper is Kaban ~ Kaban’s essence is the human mind, it’s processes & abilities. Plasticity, the positive & negative effects of thought, computational ability. (Full info at bottom of post)

Day 17 of  Playing with Being Present: Today’s theme is DRIVING
As much as this ‘should’ be a given, once we’ve got our driving skills to the point where they are second nature ……. Yes you know it, I imagine you have had at least one experience of ….. ‘OMG who the heck was just driving?’ You were not aware of driving at all, having been in your  head elsewhere, now that’s a pretty scary moment.

I didn’t have a car for 8 yrs on Gabriola, I had my feet, a bicycle and then a scooter. When I got a car last year the thing that struck me the most was the zero mistake ratio we have on our streets. The last time I had a car I lived in a city where streets have shoulders and then sidewalks for the most part. Here in general there are no shoulders, no sidewalks and more often than not there is a friggin huge drop down one hill or another, onto rocks, into the ocean …… zero mistake ratio. So today you’re invited to start practicing being totally present while driving. It may one day save your own life as well as others. Oh and for those of you using your phones while you drive …… This ‘Close To Home’ video is for you.

Here are some questions to ponder after you’ve done playing with the theme for the day.
~ Does it differ from your usual experience?
~ Have you had a new awareness from this experience?
~ Do you want to play with this again, or did it suck?
~ Was there any value in this experience? What ….
~ Are you beating yourself up for not playing well? Be present with that, and see if you want to repeat the flogging, or might you find that being present with a wee bit of compassion for yourself feels good?

Play, play, play. This is not a test, not supposed to be hard. If it’s not fun don’t do it now, try playing again later.

In this 20 day cycle you are invited to play with being present. Being in the present moment really means we are being conscious. Not in the past and not in the future. When we are in the present all the kvetching we do is not there. What you may notice is  that kvetching/internal dialogue is about the past or the future.  Every day will bring a new theme with which to play. An invitation to experience being present for as short or as long as you like. This is not a test, perfection is an illusion and not the natural law. Natural law is imperfection, if you doubt this, I invite you to go into nature and find one perfect thing. There is perfection in imperfection. No matter what we play, sports, games or anything else, with repetition comes learning and improvement. So be gentle with yourself, this is not work, it is play. Have fun experiencing …….

Dreaming for Balance: Self-Pity

Day 17 of  Dreaming for Balance
Today’s theme is SELF-PITY
~ A back door to not standing in our power.
~ An indulgence in wallowing.
I imagine we all do it at times, the key I feel is to diminish the length of time we swim in it, dry ourselves off and start standing in our power again.
The word dreaming refers to our sleeping dreams and the awake dreamtime, our life when our physical bodies are awake. We are the creators of both.

Today’s Mayan Daykeeper is Kaban ~ Kaban’s essence is the human mind, it’s processes & abilities. Plasticity, the positive & negative effects of thought, computational ability. (Full info at bottom of post)

In this 20 day cycle you are invited to use Trance Dreams/Day-dreams which occur through intent or sometimes spontaneously through meditation as a discovery tool. Every day You are invited to play with the theme presented. You may choose to intend on having a new awareness around this theme that day and just allow your subconscious mind to present you with an awareness during the day, or you may choose to do a meditation on the theme and see what comes. You may choose to do nothing and that’s okay too. Whatever you choose, I invite you to not make this ‘work’ but rather something to play with, something to explore. What you do with your findings? …… Well you decide the answer to that one.

The daily themes may be used to illuminate different aspects of your ego; the places where your masked ego is ‘on point’ and the places where your ego has become the transcended ego. Uncovering the masks that you took on to survive, and the places where you have taken off your mask and discovered the beauty of impermanence.

Impermanence is the nature of reality. Everything is impermanent, plants, animals, rocks, our bodies, Grandmother Earth, stars, our moods, and yes even our ego. Living in Impermanence is the state of being that is called the transcended ego. As you heal and change, integrating impermanence into your life, you gain freedom. Living from a place of impermanence, you are no longer at the Effect of Life and Others. You stand in the moment and take action, flexible and in control of your choices.

In everything there are positive and negative energies. The masked and transcended ego are just the ying and yang of that particular energy we call the ego. Neither is right or wrong, they are both just states of being where you can understand and learn more about yourself. With that understanding you are at choice, what action you take is up to you.

Your dream creation, Your symbols, Your interpretation, affecting Your life.

There are many types of dreams for various reasons. Some of which are Recapitulation Dreams which provide information for us to problem solve issues and questions about our daily lives. Prophetic dreams which give us information about the future. Trance Dreams/Day-dreams which occur through intent or sometimes spontaneously through meditation. Epic Dreams that show us other worlds, some are life changing and some magickal. The ultimate dream goal, is the Power Dream, where we have gained enough knowledge and ability to control our sleeping dream in order to manifest what we will in both the sleeping and awake dreams.

Dreaming Day 17 with Daykeeper Kaban

Tonight’s dream intent will be working with Kaban ~ Kaban’s essence is the human mind, it’s processes & abilities. Plasticity, the positive & negative effects of thought, computational ability.

Your dream intent is something that is relevant to your life that you wish an answer for.
For example with Kaban: “My dream intent is to see a new way to quiet my mind”
There is information on the process starting at the asterisks *** below.

Dreaming is one of the ways we get information and messages that we can use to manifest our realities in this lifetime. The word dreaming refers to our sleeping dreams and the awake dreamtime, our life when our physical bodies are awake. We are the creators of both.
~ What did you dream about last night?
~ Did you remember your dream?
~ Did you glean anything from your dream?
~ Did you forgive yourself if you didn’t remember your dream?
Please feel free to share in the comments section.

In our current 20 day cycle you are invited to explore and start to train your ability of dreaming. Each evening before you fall asleep set an intent based on the essence of the Daykeeper present that day, each morning you will interpret your dream for a message.  There may be many messages in a dream, however let’s do baby steps. The most important thing to remember is NO-ONE can interpret your dream for you. I don’t care how many books or people say otherwise and here’s why. Dreams teach you through symbolism, your symbolism. If you see a horse in your dream, what does the symbol of a horse represent to you? A horse will represent many different things as a symbol to different people. So if someone else interprets your dream, you are getting their interpretation of the symbols in your dream from their perspective not yours. I don’t know about you, but I find no relevance in that.

Your dream creation, Your symbols, Your interpretation, affecting Your life.

dream, dreaming, dream interpretation, mayan, daykeeper, Kaban, mind, clarity, confusion, innovative, think, resolve, thought, healingthroughceremony.com, michele fire-river heart

Here are some steps that may help, use what you wish or don’t use any, it’s up to you. Most importantly if you do not remember a dream that’s perfectly okay, there are days we remember and days we don’t. Be gentle with yourselves this is not a test, it’s an exploration. Exploring doesn’t always result in finding the pot of gold, sometimes the end of that darn rainbow is just elusive and that’s the way it goes. Have fun.

~ Put a pen and paper next to your bed for easy access
~ Set an intent based on the current Daykeeper. Something that is relevant to your life that you want an answer for.
~ Write it down on you paper
~ Say it out loud just before you fall asleep

In the morning or any time you wake during the night. As you are waking up, in that time when you are aware of the dream and waking up
~ Intentionally remember as much of the dream as you can
~ Write down as much as you can using double line spacing, including how you felt/feel, emotions, colours, smells, etc. Write it as it comes, do not go into your head analyzing if it makes sense or is coherent, just write
~ Using your extra line spacing to write in, write down your interpretation of what each word means to you symbolically
~ When complete look for meaning, a message within your interpreted writing. Just one, finding all the messages and meanings can be overwhelming to start. If nothing makes sense, see if a certain word, symbol, feeling, emotion, smell or colour that jumps out and go from there. There is no right or wrong here, if you feel it’s relevant then it is. If nothing comes don’t stress or beat yourself up, just leave it for now and go about your day.
~ Ask for more of the dream or meaning be revealed to you during your day.

Other questions that may help:
~ What was my intent?
~ What is the feeling of the dream?
~ What is the general energy of the dream?
~ What was the most important object in the dream?
~ How does this dream relate to my intent?
~ Is there a symbol that sticks out from the rest? What does it represent to me in relation to my intent?

There are many types of dreams for various reasons. Some of which are Recapitulation Dreams which provide information for us to problem solve issues and questions about our daily lives. Prophetic dreams which give us information about the future. Trance Dreams/Day-dreams which occur through intent or sometimes spontaneously through meditation. Epic Dreams that show us other worlds, some are life changing and some magickal. The ultimate dream goal, is the Power Dream, where we have gained enough knowledge and ability to control our sleeping dream in order to manifest what we will in both the sleeping and awake dreams.

Baby elephant rescued, it’s mom acknowledges rescuers ~ Today’s Daykeeper is Kaban

Having grown up in Africa this one tickles me pink. Elephants. Their size alone makes them interesting, once you learn a bit more things get fascinating. I have added a link to a very comprehensive site about elephants below. I would invite you to read it another day however, as this 20 day cycle is about our positive acts, so for today let’s leave it with this lovely story about a baby elephant rescue.

From sunnyskyz.com A grateful wild elephant mom acknowledges the humans that rescued her baby. (This is an assumption of course, but one I like)
