Tarot: Lord of Jades

Lord of Jades (a.k.a. King of Pentacles). . . . .
~ You are a wonderful mirror of balance for others.
~ You have mastered creating your world in a balanced juicy way.
~ It feeds you on all levels.
~ Standing in your truth without the need to explain or validate, you live life to the fullest with minimal ego. (I personally don’t think we totally get rid of our ego if we are in this lifetime, but that’s just my opinion.)
~ You are manifesting superbly, while being a wonderful image maker for others. Way to go Woo Hoo!

To Ponder should you not be feeling it?
~ What one thing and I willing to do to to manifest a life that nourishes me more?
~ What strategy am I willing to use to create this?

PROCESS
~ Set your intent to play with this, rather than it being all serious with a pass or fail mentality.  Intuition takes practice.
~ Set your intent to hear the intuitive messages from spirit that you get today from being present with the photo above.
~ Find a quiet place to be present with the photo. (If the kids are running around the room you’re in, forget about it, find another room)
~ Breathe deeply for a few moments, focussing on your breath. This will bring you into a more balanced intuitive state. If your internal dialogue kicks up that’s okay, just notice it and let it pass on through your mind not engaging with it, and focus on your breath again.
~ Notice what attracts you about the photo. As a symbol what does this mean to you and your life walk?
~ Notice any ‘thoughts, images, colours’ that pop up not from your brain, but rather from your gut or elsewhere. (If it’s from your brain that is your ego chatting away, trying to distract you from hearing your intuition.)
~ What do those thoughts, colours, images mean as symbols or otherwise to you specifically and your life?
~ Right them down. Then you have them and can ponder on them any time you want during the day.
~ If nothing comes, do not, I repeat do not beat yourself up, this is playtime remember. Go about your day, something may pop up during the day unexpectedly. If not, no matter, there’s another photo coming tomorrow to play with.  Intuition takes practice.

WHAT IS THIS POST ABOUT – I pull a tarot card every day from the Mayan Xultun Tarot Deck by Peter Balin. Due to honouring copyright I do not post a photo of the card but instead I post a photo of something that resonates as a mirror for that card, from my perspective. It is up to you, to interpret what the photo’s message is for you each day. Play with tarot, see what your intuitive messages are.

Your interpretation and experience is your own. I can only share my personal understanding, I invite you to find your own truths and their relevance in your life. This is really important. If something resonates great, if not chuck it out. We gain nothing by ‘taking on’ others life experiences and beliefs. The juice and healing comes from within your own understanding, it is pivotal for your healing journey and manifesting what you want.

Mayan Daykeeper K’an ~ K’an symbolically is the seed. The source, the catalyst for something new to come into being. Within humans it is the fire, the love, the creative energy of the heart.

K’an manifests as an apparently destructive force
that eliminates or destroys what is complete.
An example of this is a burning forest that allows for new life to begin there.
K’an is also the feeding or fueling of this new life.
A K’an day is a good day to support and encourage new ideas or plans,
though they may not yet be recognized by others
and may not be ready to be acted on.

Those born on this day may carry or reflect
the potential of future accomplishments.

Mayan Daykeeper Imix  brought us back to the beginning of a new cycle of 20 days at the end of which is …… SPRING the season of new growth. We are a part of nature and nature has the ability to transform and grow with incredible speed in Spring. With that in mind we’re playing with the Mayan Daykeepers in this 20 day cycle to begin our own journey into Spring, fresh and rejuvenated, rearing to go.

Playing with Being Present ~ Hearing

Today’s Mayan Daykeeper is K’an ~ K’an symbolically is the seed. The source, the catalyst for something new to come into being. Within humans it is the fire, the love, the creative energy of the heart. (Full info at bottom of post)

Day 4 of  Playing with Being Present: Today’s theme: HEARING
Sit, walk, swim …. somewhere familiar if possible. What do you hear? How does your hearing inform you? What can you hear easily, what is challenging? Do you hear things that you normally would not pay attention to? Does your hearing play any part in your feeling safe? Does your hearing bring you joy …… How?

Here are some questions to ponder after you’ve done playing with the theme for the day.
~ Does it differ from your usual experience?
~ Have you had a new awareness from this experience?
~ Do you want to play with this again, or did it suck?
~ Was there any value in this experience? What ….
~ Are you beating yourself up for not playing well? Be present with that, and see if you want to repeat the flogging, or might you find that being present with a wee bit of compassion for yourself feels good?

Play, play, play. This is not a test, not supposed to be hard. If it’s not fun don’t do it now, try playing again later.

In this 20 day cycle you are invited to play with being present. Being in the present moment really means we are being conscious. Not in the past and not in the future. When we are in the present all the kvetching we do is not there. What you may notice is that kvetching/internal dialogue is about the past or the future.  Every day will bring a new theme with which to play. An invitation to experience being present for as short or as long as you like. This is not a test, perfection is an illusion and not the natural law. Natural law is imperfection, if you doubt this, I invite you to go into nature and find one perfect thing. There is perfection in imperfection. No matter what we play, sports, games or anything else, with repetition comes learning and improvement. So be gentle with yourself, this is not work, it is play. Have fun experiencing …….

Dreaming for Balance: Surrender

Day 4 of  Dreaming for Balance: Today’s theme is SURRENDER
The word dreaming refers to our sleeping dreams and the awake dreamtime, our life when our physical bodies are awake. We are the creators of both.

This type of surrender refers to surrendering to what is, instead of wishing it was not. Empowering yourself by using your transcended ego to engage acceptance. Then choosing to take action from a place of balance.

Today’s Mayan Daykeeper is K’an ~ K’an symbolically is the seed. The source, the catalyst for something new to come into being. Within humans it is the fire, the love, the creative energy of the heart. (Full info at bottom of post)

In this 20 day cycle you are invited to use Trance Dreams/Day-dreams which occur through intent or sometimes spontaneously through meditation as a discovery tool. Every day You are invited to play with the theme presented. You may choose to intend on having a new awareness around this theme that day and just allow your subconscious mind to present you with an awareness during the day, or you may choose to do a meditation on the theme and see what comes. You may choose to do nothing and that’s okay too. Whatever you choose, I invite you to not make this ‘work’ but rather something to play with, something to explore. What you do with your findings? …… Well you decide the answer to that one.

The daily themes may be used to illuminate different aspects of your ego; the places where your masked ego is ‘on point’ and the places where your ego has become the transcended ego. Uncovering the masks that you took on to survive, and the places where you have taken off your mask and discovered the beauty of impermanence.

Impermanence is the nature of reality. Everything is impermanent, plants, animals, rocks, our bodies, Grandmother Earth, stars, our moods, and yes even our ego. Living in Impermanence is the state of being that is called the transcended ego. As you heal and change, integrating impermanence into your life, you gain freedom. Living from a place of impermanence, you are no longer at the Effect of Life and Others. You stand in the moment and take action, flexible and in control of your choices.

In everything there are positive and negative energies. The masked and transcended ego are just the ying and yang of that particular energy we call the ego. Neither is right or wrong, they are both just states of being where you can understand and learn more about yourself. With that understanding you are at choice, what action you take is up to you.

There are many types of dreams for various reasons. Some of which are Recapitulation Dreams which provide information for us to problem solve issues and questions about our daily lives. Prophetic dreams which give us information about the future. Trance Dreams/Day-dreams which occur through intent or sometimes spontaneously through meditation. Epic Dreams that show us other worlds, some are life changing and some magickal. The ultimate dream goal, is the Power Dream, where we have gained enough knowledge and ability to control our sleeping dream in order to manifest what we will in both the sleeping and awake dreams.

Dreaming Day 4 with Daykeeper K’an

Tonight’s dream intent will be working with K’an ~ K’an symbolically is the seed. The source, the catalyst for something new to come into being. Within humans it is the fire, the love, the creative energy of the heart.

Your dream intent is something that is relevant to your life that you wish an answer for.
I.E. with K’an: “My dream intent is to see another way for my heart to open more”
There is information on the process starting at the asterisks *** below.

Dreaming is one of the ways we get information and messages that we can use to manifest our realities in this lifetime. The word dreaming refers to our sleeping dreams and the awake dreamtime, our life when our physical bodies are awake. We are the creators of both.
~ What did you dream about last night?
~ Did you remember your dream?
~ Did you glean anything from your dream?
Please feel free to share in the comments section.

In our current 20 day cycle you are invited to explore and start to train your ability of    dreaming. Each evening before you fall asleep set an intent based on the essence of the Daykeeper present that day, each morning you will interpret your dream for a message.  There may be many messages in a dream, however let’s do baby steps. The most important thing to remember is NO-ONE can interpret your dream for you. I don’t care how many books or people say otherwise and here’s why. Dreams teach you through symbolism, your symbolism. If you see a fire in your dream, what does the symbol of a fire represent to you? Fire will represent many different things as a symbol to different people. So if someone else interprets your dream, you are getting their interpretation of the symbols in your dream from their perspective not yours. I don’t know about you, but I find no relevance in that.

Your dream creation, Your symbols, Your interpretation, affecting Your life.

Here are some steps that may help, use what you wish or don’t use any it’s up to you. Most importantly if you do not remember a dream that’s perfectly okay, there are days we remember and days we don’t. Be gentle with yourselves this is not a test, it’s an exploration. Exploring doesn’t always result in finding the pot of gold, sometimes the end of that darn rainbow is just elusive and that’s the way it goes. Have fun.

*** DREAM INTERPRETATION PROCESS
Before you go to sleep
~ Put a pen and paper next to your bed for easy access
~ Set an intent based on the current Daykeeper. Something that is relevant to your life that you wish an answer for.
~ Write it down on you paper
~ Say it out loud just before you fall asleep

In the morning or any time you wake during the night. As you are waking up, in that time when you are aware of the dream and waking up
~ Intentionally remember as much of the dream as you can
~ Write down as much as you can using double line spacing, including how you felt/feel, emotions, colours, smells, etc. Write it as it comes, do not go into your head analyzing if it makes sense or is coherent, just write
~ Using your extra line spacing to write in, write down your interpretation of what each word means to you symbolically
~ When complete look for meaning, a message within your interpreted writing. Just one, finding all the messages and meanings can be overwhelming to start. If nothing makes sense, see if a certain word, symbol, feeling, emotion, smell or colour that jumps out and go from there. There is no right or wrong here, if you feel it’s relevant then it is. If nothing comes don’t stress or beat yourself up, just leave it for now and go about your day.
~ Ask for more of the dream or meaning be revealed to you during your day.

Other questions that may help:
~ What was my intent?
~ What is the feeling of the dream?
~ What is the general energy of the dream?
~ What was the most important object in the dream?
~ How does this dream relate to my intent?
~ Is there a symbol that sticks out from the rest? What does it represent to me in relation to my intent?

There are many types of dreams for various reasons. Some of which are Recapitulation Dreams which provide information for us to problem solve issues and questions about our daily lives. Prophetic dreams which give us information about the future. Trance Dreams/Day-dreams which occur through intent or sometimes spontaneously through meditation. Love: Life Partners ~ Today’s Daykeeper is K’an

Love: Life Partner(s) sit in the West of the Love Medicine Wheel

I put Life Partners in the West as the west is about experiencing this life. No-one has greater impact on our journey of self discovery than life partners. They are the mirrors we need to see, in order to become the most healed powerful self we can become in this lifetime. Intimate life partners give us opportunities to see what we need to see and do what needs to be done. I can do all kinds of healing work but until I have the opportunity to walk it out into the world, I actually don’t know how much healing I have integrated. Life partners also provide opportunities to illuminate places that need healing that we have not seen before. Every time we re-act instead of act is a place that could use some investigation. Each time we heal we gain another measure of freedom.

What interconnections do we have on other medicine wheels:
~ Intuition & introspection: Well hello, heck yes the opportunities abound. The close connection we have with intimate partners make it ideal to hone our intuitive abilities. Introspection, well refer to the above paragraph.
~ Care: Healthy relationships are filled with care
~ Spirit: We are spirits in a human body. I believe that we often have opportunities to resolve things with other spirits from other lifetimes within this one. Sometimes it’s karma, sometimes it’s just an agreement we made in spirit.
~ Physical Touch: Mmmmmmmmm say no more! Well actually this is a very edgy area I imagine for most of us, which is why drinking alcohol before sex is such a prevalent behaviour. Without a partner we do not have the opportunity to heal issues in this area, and until we can have sex in sobriety there is still work to be done.
~ Exploration: From sex to all aspects of life, we can learn more together than alone.
~ Impact Awareness: What’s that saying. ‘He/She/They love me warts & all’. This goes to the fact that this person has seen your positive & negative qualities and still loves you. It can also be the place where your positive or negative behaviours are illuminated which you didn’t see before – impact awareness.
~ Gratitude
~ Experience
~ Re-membering: Who you are and why you’re here.
~ Self-authority: To gain self-authority we need to practice, relationships give us tons of practice. Healing doesn’t usually just happen in an instant. It is a journey of learning, just like all our skills and abilities.
~ Mother Earth: The partner that offers herself for us to experience this lifetime.

Healing Totem Animals sit in the West of the Animal Totem Medicine Wheel

When we are in balance we experience life, when we are out of balance we just exist. Our healing animal totem helps us heal to be in balance more of the time.
~ It helps you leap into experiences that give you an opportunity to heal
~ Is a teacher for how we in particular heal, we’re all unique
~ How to explore the world in a more physical way and active way
~ When working with others, helps with being neutral

Animal totems are numerous and varied, beliefs about how many we have and what they do, are just as varied. I present what I have been taught and experienced. Trance drum journeys are a way to find your animal totems, be it just one or many. I facilitate drum journeys. Should you be interested in doing one, contact me & we’ll set up an appointment for this magickal experience.

So what are Totem Animals and why would you even want one? Animal Totems are animal spirit allies, on your journey in this lifetime. They give you advice when asked for, and answer questions you have. They can support you when you’re scared, help empower you, clarify things, show you the next step in your healing journey, walk with you as a trusted companion and more. There are 9 Animal Totems, one in the centre and 8 around your Animal Totem Medicine Wheel. Are they real animal spirits? Well I don’t think it matters one iota if they are or aren’t, what you imagine you create. Whatever you believe and experience is your truth. It is the wisdom & knowledge you get from them that matters, not whether you believe that it’s an animal spirit or a part of your own psyche.

On Sept 21st Mayan Daykeeper Imix brought us back to the beginning of a new cycle of 20 days. This cycle we are looking at creation through imagination. The relevant daily information on today’s Mayan Daykeeper is below todays musings.

We are creators of our lives, what we imagine we create.

We are looking at ‘The Twelve Imaginings’. The were given to Hyemeyohsts Storm by Estcheemah. She was a Zero Chief. Hyemeyohsts wrote these down in his book Lightningbolt. What is a Zero Chief? My understanding is the Zero chiefs were a secret group of people that keep the spiritual & healing knowledge of the Native Americans when it needed to go underground, to preserve it and keep it safe due to colonization. Now I could be wrong, but there it is, make of it what you will.

We will do an imagining a day for 2 days. On the third day I will add an imagining of my own. You are invited to add imaginings of  your own in the comments section on any day. On the 20th day of the cycle I will list all the imaginings that have been submitted.

I imagine that we are taught as children to use our intuition ~ (Michele’s imagining)
What a change there would be in the world if we all were trained to understand and use our intuition. We all have intuition, but due in large part to it being misunderstood and not acknowledged as a reality, we are discouraged as children to learn and explore our intuitive abilities. As we grow we learn to not access them, except for a minority of people who choose consciously or unconsciously to keep accessing them. As adults we are often faced with ‘rolling eyeballs’ or pegged as not quite right in the head. The good news, is that this attitude is changing and quite quickly. Once our known science has caught up with metaphysics, intuition will be indisputable.

I started to look at what the dictionary definitions for intuition were & to my surprise from my perspective they have no idea. In fact I finally understood one of the reasons folks misunderstand intuition, it had been defined incorrectly. There were two common threads in the various definitions I looked at. One that intuition was a feeling, and two that intuition was attained through no conscious thought. While I agree that ‘feelings’ often accompany intuition, feelings are not intuition. As to knowledge gained with no conscious thought, well poppycock. When I access my intuition it is with conscious thought, I set out to access my intuition, or my consciousness already knows an energy pattern and let’s me know.

Simply put: Intuition is your ability to sense energy patterns & know what they mean.

I invite you to sit with this imagining, and see what it means to you.

Here’s some of what it means to me:
~ Knowing what to do becomes easier
~ Connection with the spirit realm is natural
~ An expanded knowledge base
~ Fewer bumps on the road of life
~ Greater connection with a romantic partner

This is really important. We gain nothing by ‘taking on’ others life experiences and beliefs. The juice and healing comes from within your own understanding, it is pivotal for your healing journey.

This cycle I am looking at the interconnection between The Twenty Great Teachers of Life and The Earth Count. Let’s see what their interconnection has to teach us. The relevant daily information on each energy is below todays musings.

The Interconnection of The Physical and Sacred Animals ~ Animals teach us about naturalness. Our totem power animal in particular teaches us about our own naturalness. How to use our physical bodies in the most balanced way, what our particular rhythms are. A bear versus a spider is a very different way to be natural for instance. As well as the individual nuances, you as a bear would be different than me as a bear, but our bear totem animals would be offering us both the mirror of naturalness that we each need to see.

Great Teachers, The Physical. mayan, day keeper, kan, new life, activate, seed, ignite, planting, activate, dolphin, totem animal, Healing through ceremony.com, Michele Fire-River Heart, new life

4 – The Fourth Great Teacher is The Physical
The Physical teaches us about determination of health and harmony

Our physical bodies and the physical world let us know when something is out of balance. If we don’t get the message and do something to heal the problem, things get quite messy. As we age, the body is the last great teacher, lessons unlearned can be  manifested in diseases that give us a final opportunity to heal/learn what we need to in this lifetime. I have found it interesting to look at diseases and relate them back to emotional blockages. Folks with a lot of anger quite often end up with heart problems. Someone with severe control issues that are not addressed ….. altzheimers or other diseases that take away their ability to assert control. Unresolved resentment ….. arthritis. It’s nice to believe that this is new age woo woo, as we are then absolved from any responsibility. However science has now proved that every emotion we have, effects the physical body, everything we eat, say and do, expresses itself in the physical body. Our bodies are an expression of what is going on in our emotional world.

I want to live a vibrant life right up to death. So I work on my healing all the time, I watch my emotions, what I eat, drink, watch, listen to. I will give my body as little as possible to work with in terms of lessons of the physical as I age. Knowing that my  emotional landscape affects my physical one helps me be consistent in working on my healing journey. We are all at choice.

Should you be interested in the correlation between emotion and disease…..

4 – The Four ~ FOUR is the Number for all Animals
Time turned the Earth, and the Plants turned the Wheel within shadow and light. One the Sun, married Three, all Plants, and the first Animals were Born on the Earth.
The Animals are in Circles ever moving with Life.

Creation has now created the First Circle.
East, ONE, the Sun.
West, TWO, the Earth.
South, THREE, the Plants.
North, FOUR, the Animals

4- Mayan Daykeeper K’an ~ K’an symbolically is the seed.

The Physical as a Teacher ~ Sacred Animals ~ Mayan Daykeeper K’an

Your interpretation and experience of this teacher is your own. I can only share my personal understanding, I invite you to explore what this teacher means to you and the lessons it has brought you thus far. This is really important. We gain nothing by ‘taking on’ others life experiences. The juice and healing comes from within your own paradigm, it is pivotal for your healing journey.
