Tarot: 9 of Cups

CURRENT BLOG THEME
– Tarot a tool to use intuitively, for you to discern what today’s message is. What to pay attention to, due to the energy presented by the card and as a means of self exploration.
I pull a tarot card every day with the intent that the card is for whomever is called to read my blog that day. Due to honouring copyright I will not be posting a photo of the card but instead I will post a photo of something that resonates as a mirror for that card. It is up to you, to interpret what the photo’s message is for you each day. Let’s play with tarot. See what your intuitive messages are.Two ways you can do with this.
1) Focus on the photo and your breath, if the message comes from your belly it is usually your intuition, if it comes from your mind, well ego is probably present. So focus on your breath and the card, do your best to stay out of your head and see what comes.
2) Look at the photo, really focus on it, burn it into your retinas, especially parts that catch your attention more. Then go about your day with the intent to see and hear messages.
That’s it, see what comes, play have fun, this is not work, no seriousness please. Trust and be gentle with yourself, going through the process even if you don’t feel like you have gotten a message is still a success.

HINT ~ Your intents manifest, wishes come true

IN DEPTH PROCESS
~ Set your intent to play with this, rather than it being all serious with a pass or fail mentality.  Intuition takes practice.
~ Set your intent to hear the intuitive messages from spirit that you get today from being present with the photo above.
~ Find a quiet place to be present with the photo. (If the kids are running around the room you’re in, forget about it, find another room)
~ Breathe deeply for a few moments, focussing on your breath. This will bring you into a more balanced intuitive state. If your internal dialogue kicks up that’s okay, just notice it and let it pass on through your mind not engaging with it, and focus on your breath again.
~ Notice what attracts you about the photo. As a symbol what does this mean to you and your life walk?
~ Notice any ‘thoughts, images, colours’ that pop up not from your brain, but rather from your gut or elsewhere. (If it’s from your brain that is your ego chatting away, trying to distract you from hearing your intuition.)
~ What do those thoughts, colours, images mean as symbols or otherwise to you specifically and your life?
~ Right them down. Then you have them and can ponder on them any time you want during the day.
~ If nothing comes, do not, I repeat do not beat yourself up, this is playtime remember. Go about your day, something may pop up during the day unexpectedly. If not, no matter, there’s another photo coming tomorrow to play with.  Intuition takes practice.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Your interpretation and experience is your own. I can only share my personal understanding, I invite you to find your own truths and their relevance in your life. This is really important. If something resonates great, if not chuck it out. We gain nothing by ‘taking on’ others life experiences and beliefs. The juice and healing comes from within your own understanding, it is pivotal for your healing journey and manifesting what you want.
Mayan Daykeeper Kib ~ Kib’s essence is solitude.
You may experience Kib as the need for solitude or the desire for separation.
Being alone is often necessary to unwind
from intimate or entangled interactions with others.
Kib’s gifts are given to those that can be alone with themselves.
On a day with Kib as Daykeeper,
you may want to find time to be by yourself
or focus on what you can do by yourself alone.
It is an opportune time to separate yourself
from people and things that no longer serve your current needs.
You may feel much better after bringing certain things to a final conclusion.
People born on a Kib day often experience
their most profound revelations in solitude and usually work best alone.
Even in the presence of others
they are able to maintain an independent awareness of self.
PAGE OF CUPS, tarot, mayan, daykeeper, Kib, solitude, balance, interdependent, healingthroughceremony.com, michele fire-riverheart
Tarot: Page of Cups
Page of Cups . . . . .
~ The Page of Cups signifies a time for inner searching and learning.
~ A time for solitude from your clan.
~ The energy present is intuition and introspection.
~ Although traditionally this may signify going on a VisionQuest, (which you may choose to do out in nature, or in your home).
However you may not be able to do so, jobs, children, etc. so you don’t necessarily have to do it that way.
~ You can choose to set an intent for the day, to keep a tendril of awareness for any signs, intuitive or otherwise, for awareness moments. If you cannot be in solitude, keep your energy tucked into yourself, engage only when absolutely necessary, keep it to the point, and extricate yourself quickly.
~ Watch yourself, are you wanting to help all the time, have approval from others, are you finding it uncomfortable to be alone with yourself?
~ If any or all are true I invite you to look at why?
Don’t make it right or wrong just look at it from a neutral perspective as to what is making you tick.
~ At the end of the day as you lie in bed, perhaps recapitulate your day, marking moments of awareness or lightbulb moments.
~ Be sure to pat yourself on the back, take in the fact that you did personal growth work today.
Do not go down the road of ‘I was successful’ or ‘I was not successful’ you set an intent and you did your best in each moment, no matter how it looked.
Don’t be judge and jury, be the roaring crowd applauding.
PROCESS
~ Set your intent to play with this, rather than it being all serious with a pass or fail mentality.  Intuition takes practice.
~ Breathe deeply for a few moments, focussing on your breath. This will bring you into a more balanced intuitive state. If your internal dialogue kicks up that’s okay, just notice it and let it pass on through your mind not engaging with it, and focus on your breath again.
~ Notice what attracts you about the photo. As a symbol what does this mean to you and your life walk?
~ Notice any ‘thoughts, images, colours’ that pop up not from your brain, but rather from your gut or elsewhere. (If it’s from your brain that is your ego chatting away, trying to distract you from hearing your intuition.)
~ What do those thoughts, colours, images mean as symbols or otherwise to you specifically and your life?
~ Right them down. Then you have them and can ponder on them any time you want during the day.
~ If nothing comes, do not, I repeat do not beat yourself up, this is playtime remember. Go about your day, something may pop up during the day unexpectedly. If not, no matter, there’s another photo coming tomorrow to play with.  Intuition takes practice.
WHAT IS THIS POST ABOUT – I pull a tarot card every day from the Mayan Xultun Tarot Deck by Peter Balin. Due to honouring copyright I do not post a photo of the card but instead I post a photo of something that resonates as a mirror for that card, from my perspective. It is up to you, to interpret what the photo’s message is for you each day. Play with tarot, see what your intuitive messages are.
Your interpretation and experience is your own. I can only share my personal understanding, I invite you to find your own truths and their relevance in your life. This is really important. If something resonates great, if not chuck it out. We gain nothing by ‘taking on’ others life experiences and beliefs. The juice and healing comes from within your own understanding, it is pivotal for your healing journey and manifesting what you want.
Mayan Daykeeper Kib ~ Kib’s essence is solitude.
You may experience Kib as the need for solitude or the desire for separation.
Being alone is often necessary to unwind
from intimate or entangled interactions with others.
Kib’s gifts are given to those that can be alone with themselves.
On a day with Kib as Daykeeper,
you may want to find time to be by yourself
or focus on what you can do by yourself alone.
It is an opportune time to separate yourself
from people and things that no longer serve your current needs.
You may feel much better after bringing certain things to a final conclusion.
People born on a Kib day often experience
their most profound revelations in solitude and usually work best alone.
Even in the presence of others
they are able to maintain an independent awareness of self.
Playing with Being Present On The Phone
Today’s Mayan Daykeeper is Kib ~ Kib’s essence is solitude. (Full info at bottom of post)
Day 16 of  Playing with Being Present: Being on the phone  play, being present, phone, mayan, daykeeper, Kib, solitude, balance, interdependent, healingthroughceremony.com, michele fire-riverheart
Okay I admit this is still a button for me. When you’re on the phone with someone, you know if they’re present or not, regardless of them having a phone to their ear. Hearing them move around, clank dishes etc., sometimes talking to someone else (Human or animal) without taking a beat, mid-call truly pisses me off. When I call some-one to talk to them I honour them by actually being present. My time is valuable as I imagine so is theirs, if I don’t have time to give them my attention ….. I don’t call or if I have been called, I call them back. Even receptionists whom we don’t know, give us their full attention & if they   play, being present, phone, mayan, daykeeper, Kib, solitude, balance, interdependent, healingthroughceremony.com, michele fire-riverheartcan’t, they put us on hold, after asking us politely if that’s okay.
Now I get this is ego on my part, I get it stems from being ignored by my mother, I get that clearly there is some healing work to do on this, or I would not be triggered by this behaviour. I would simply ask for their attention and if they cannot give it reschedule the call. A wise woman I know once said, “Before we start our healing work we do not necessarily know what our crap is. Once we start we know what crap is in which pile” It makes me smile every time I think of it. Well this particular piece of crap of mine is off to the landfill.
Phones: Enjoy the photo trip down memory lane. Next? Implants would be my guess. You just tug on your earlobe to answer.play, being present, phone, mayan, daykeeper, Kib, solitude, balance, interdependent, healingthroughceremony.com, michele fire-riverheartplay, being present, phone, mayan, daykeeper, Kib, solitude, balance, interdependent, healingthroughceremony.com, michele fire-riverheart
Here are some questions to ponder after you’ve done playing with the theme for the day.
~ Does it differ from your usual experience?
~ Have you had a new awareness from this experience?
~ Do you want to play with this again, or did it suck?
~ Was there any value in this experience? What ….
~ Are you beating yourself up for not playing well? Be present with that, and see if you want to repeat the flogging, or might you find that being present with a wee bit of compassion for yourself feels good?
play, being present, phone, mayan, daykeeper, Kib, solitude, balance, interdependent, healingthroughceremony.com, michele fire-riverheartPlay, play, play. This is not a test, not supposed to be hard. If it’s not fun don’t do it now, try playing again later.
In this 20 day cycle you are invited to play with being present. Being in the present moment really means we are being conscious. Not in the past and not in the future. When we are in the present all the kvetching we do is not there. What you may notice is that kvetching/internal play, being present, phone, mayan, daykeeper, Kib, solitude, balance, interdependent, healingthroughceremony.com, michele fire-riverheartdialogue is about the past or the future.  Every day will bring a new theme with which to play. An invitation to experience being present for as short or as long as you like. This is not a test, perfection is an illusion and not the natural law. Natural law is imperfection, if you doubt this, I invite you to go into nature and find one perfect thing. There is perfection in imperfection. No matter what we play, sports, games or anything else, with repetition comes learning and improvement. So be gentle with yourself, this is not work, it is play. Have fun experiencing …….
Dreaming for Balance: Acceptance
Day 16 of  Dreaming for Balance: Today’s theme is ACCEPTANCE (Sans grumbling)
The word dreaming refers to our sleeping dreams and the awake dreamtime, our life when our physical bodies are awake. We are the creators of both.
Today’s Mayan Daykeeper is Kib ~ Kib’s essence is solitude. (Full info at bottom of post)
In this 20 day cycle you are invited to use Trance Dreams/Day-dreams which occur through intent or sometimes spontaneously through meditation as a discovery tool. Every day You are invited to play with the theme presented. You may choose to intend on having a new awareness around this theme that day and just allow your subconscious mind to present you with an awareness during the day, or you may choose to do a meditation on the theme and see what comes. You may choose to do nothing and that’s okay too. Whatever you choose, I invite you to not make this ‘work’ but rather something to play with, something to explore. What you do with your findings? …… Well you decide the answer to that one.
The daily themes may be used to illuminate different aspects of your ego; the places where your masked ego is ‘on point’ and the places where your ego has become the transcended ego. Uncovering the masks that you took on to survive, and the places where you have taken off your mask and discovered the beauty of impermanence.
Impermanence is the nature of reality. Everything is impermanent, plants, animals, rocks, our bodies, Grandmother Earth, stars, our moods, and yes even our ego. Living in Impermanence is the state of being that is called the transcended ego. As you heal and change, integrating impermanence into your life, you gain freedom. Living from a place of impermanence, you are no longer at the Effect of Life and Others. You stand in the moment and take action, flexible and in control of your choices.
In everything there are positive and negative energies. The masked and transcended ego are just the ying and yang of that particular energy we call the ego. Neither is right or wrong, they are both just states of being where you can understand and learn more about yourself. With that understanding you are at choice, what action you take is up to you.
There are many types of dreams for various reasons. Some of which are Recapitulation Dreams which provide information for us to problem solve issues and questions about our daily lives. Prophetic dreams which give us information about the future. Trance Dreams/Day-dreams which occur through intent or sometimes spontaneously through meditation. Epic Dreams that show us other worlds, some are life changing and some magickal. The ultimate dream goal, is the Power Dream, where we have gained enough knowledge and ability to control our sleeping dream in order to manifest what we will in both the sleeping and awake dreams.
Dreaming Day 16 with Daykeeper Kib
Tonight’s dream intent will be working with Kib ~ Kib’s essence is solitude.
Your dream intent is something that is relevant to your life that you wish an answer for.
For example with Kib: “My dream intent is to see where I allow solitude to become self pity”
There is information on the process starting at the asterisks *** below.
Dreaming is one of the ways we get information and messages that we can use to manifest our realities in this lifetime. The word dreaming refers to our sleeping dreams and the awake dreamtime, our life when our physical bodies are awake. We are the creators of both.
~ What did you dream about last night?
~ Did you remember your dream?
~ Did you glean anything from your dream?
~ Did you forgive yourself if you didn’t remember your dream?
Please feel free to share in the comments section.
In our current 20 day cycle you are invited to explore and start to train your ability of dreaming. Each evening before you fall asleep set an intent based on the essence of the Daykeeper present that day, each morning you will interpret your dream for a message.  There may be many messages in a dream, however let’s do baby steps. The most important thing to remember is NO-ONE can interpret your dream for you. I don’t care how many books or people say otherwise and here’s why. Dreams teach you through symbolism, your symbolism. If you see a horse in your dream, what does the symbol of a horse represent to you? A horse will represent many different things as a symbol to different people. So if someone else interprets your dream, you are getting their interpretation of the symbols in your dream from their perspective not yours. I don’t know about you, but I find no relevance in that.
Your dream creation, Your symbols, Your interpretation, affecting Your life.
dream, dreaming, dream interpretation, mayan, daykeeper, Kib, solitude, balance, interdependent, healingthroughceremony.com, michele fire-riverheart
Here are some steps that may help, use what you wish or don’t use any, it’s up to you. Most importantly if you do not remember a dream that’s perfectly okay, there are days we remember and days we don’t. Be gentle with yourselves this is not a test, it’s an exploration. Exploring doesn’t always result in finding the pot of gold, sometimes the end of that darn rainbow is just elusive and that’s the way it goes. Have fun.
*** DREAM INTERPRETATION PROCESS
Before you go to sleep
~ Put a pen and paper next to your bed for easy access
~ Set an intent based on the current Daykeeper. Something that is relevant to your life that you want an answer for.
~ Write it down on you paper
~ Say it out loud just before you fall asleep
In the morning or any time you wake during the night. As you are waking up, in that time when you are aware of the dream and waking up
~ Intentionally remember as much of the dream as you can
~ Write down as much as you can using double line spacing, including how you felt/feel, emotions, colours, smells, etc. Write it as it comes, do not go into your head analyzing if it makes sense or is coherent, just write
~ Using your extra line spacing to write in, write down your interpretation of what each word means to you symbolically
~ When complete look for meaning, a message within your interpreted writing. Just one, finding all the messages and meanings can be overwhelming to start. If nothing makes sense, see if a certain word, symbol, feeling, emotion, smell or colour that jumps out and go from there. There is no right or wrong here, if you feel it’s relevant then it is. If nothing comes don’t stress or beat yourself up, just leave it for now and go about your day.
~ Ask for more of the dream or meaning be revealed to you during your day.
Other questions that may help:
~ What was my intent?
~ What is the feeling of the dream?
~ What is the general energy of the dream?
~ What was the most important object in the dream?
~ How does this dream relate to my intent?
~ Is there a symbol that sticks out from the rest? What does it represent to me in relation to my intent?
There are many types of dreams for various reasons. Some of which are Recapitulation Dreams which provide information for us to problem solve issues and questions about our daily lives. Prophetic dreams which give us information about the future. Trance Dreams/Day-dreams which occur through intent or sometimes spontaneously through meditation. Epic Dreams that show us other worlds, some are life changing and some magickal. The ultimate dream goal, is the Power Dream, where we have gained enough knowledge and ability to control our sleeping dream in order to manifest what we will in both the sleeping and awake dreams.
Merry Christmas ~ Wisdom: Nuts ~ Today’s Daykeeper Kib
Merry Christmas everyone, may you all feel the energy of the season, love.
It struck me yesterday that the reason we feel an overall difference in the energy around Merry christmas, wisdom, nuts, mayan, daykeeper, Kib, solitude, balance, interdependent, healingthroughceremony.com, michele fire-riverheart
all of us at this time of year, is due to the sheer quantity of happiness, joy, love, gratitude, & abundance that is floating around. Then I started thinking of this energy that we create with these emotions, and how this energy permeates everything. It is no wonder then that we feel the energy shift. Folks that don’t care or believe a wit about energy feel it too, they just comment on it differently. “Isn’t it lovely how nice everyone is at this time of year.” It is an opportunity to experience the best in us, our potential in every moment, and what a gift that is. So I invite you all to take a moment and drink it in.
Today’s word is NUTS
It’s killing me to not say more, but I will leave you with your own inner wisdom to inform you about what your message is today.
merry christmas, wisdom, nuts, mayan, daykeeper, Kib, solitude, balance, interdependent, healingthroughceremony.com, michele fire-riverheart
We are working with our inner wisdom in this 20 day cycle. I invite you to take a moment, go to your breath, just focus on your breath with the intent of hearing your own wisdom of what you need to hear in relation to the word and the photos. If it speaks to you to write it down each day, or make a symbol, or a piece of art indulge yourself.
Even in the presence of others
they are able to maintain an independent awareness of self.
Your interpretation and experience is your own. I can only share my personal understanding, I invite you to find your own truths and their relevance in your life. This is really important. If something resonates great, if not chuck it out. We gain nothing by ‘taking on’ others life experiences and beliefs. The juice and healing comes from within your own understanding, it is pivotal for your healing journey and manifesting what you want.
Mayan Daykeeper Kib ~ Kib’s essence is solitude.
You may experience Kib as the need for solitude or the desire for separation.
Being alone is often necessary to unwind
from intimate or entangled interactions with others.
Kib’s gifts are given to those that can be alone with themselves.
On a day with Kib as Daykeeper,
you may want to find time to be by yourself
or focus on what you can do by yourself alone.
It is an opportune time to separate yourself
from people and things that no longer serve your current needs.
You may feel much better after bringing certain things to a final conclusion.
When I was growing up there was this lovely cartoon series created by New Zealand cartoonist Kim Casali. (Loveiscartoon.com) I remember waiting for the newspaper to see what the cartoon was that day. It is one of the few things that stuck in my memory about that time in my life. So I’m taking a leaf out of her book, sans cartoons to illuminate my thoughts about love in the upcoming blog posts. Some you may agree with some you may not, it is just my opinion, you have your own and that’s as it should be.
I encourage you to add your own in the comments sections & I will add them in.
Flicker Birth Animal Totem~ Today’s Daykeeper Kib
Flicker Birth Animal Totem:  June 21 – July 22
A member of the woodpecker family flicker is often called the “little awakener” as it taps and drums in its search for food. It lives in a variety of woodland habitats, makes its nests in holes in dead trees and is very particular about the cleanliness of its home. Its feet are different than most birds having two toes in front and two in the back, which allows it to balance and move up and down on the sides of trees
Flickers teach about:
~ Having the right tools for you to maintain balance
~ Awakening the knowledge you already possess and activating latent talents and intuition
~ The rhythm of their drumming can teach you to align with the heart beat of nature and is a reminder that you have the ability to connect with realms other than physical
~ Flickers also help you to connect with the ancestors and the little people with their rhythmic tapping and drumming, and show you how to stay in balance and move with confidence when new rhythms are developing in your life
~ Flicker people are home oriented and are excellent in emergencies
~ They are loving, solid and stable yet have a wild quality about them and love natural settings
~ They are thoughtful and emotionally balanced
~ Their challenge when out of balance is independent thought and action
~ When balanced they are sensitive make good decisions and follow-through
~ Flicker experiences deep emotions that are ever shifting
~ Relationships are important part of their stability, contributing to their emotional stability
~ Flickers also like to be with others in their mystical pursuits and they devote themselves fully
~ They not only desire a family but a like-minded spiritual family they can be of service to
~ In their harmony they are free to pursue and discover their mystical pursuits
BIRTH ANIMALS:
~ Help you walk in balance
~ Shows you your heart capacity for love, the nature of your heart
~ How to express emotions and feel them
~ Helps you to be in the present moment emotionally, so you are present and not in past history
When we walk in balance we are connected to reality, the present moment. When out of balance we are in our personal history, living in the past or fantasizing about the future
Animal totems are numerous and varied, beliefs about how many we have and what they do, are just as varied. I present what I have been taught and experienced. Trance drum journeys are a way to find your animal totems, be it just one or many. I facilitate drum journeys. Should you be interested in doing one, contact me & we’ll set up an appointment for this magickal experience.
So what are Totem Animals and why would you even want one? Animal Totems are animal spirit allies, on your journey in this lifetime. They give you advice when asked for, and answer questions you have. They can support you when you’re scared, help empower you, clarify things, show you the next step in your healing journey, walk with you as a trusted companion and more. There are 9 Animal Totems, one in the centre and 8 around your Animal Totem Medicine Wheel. Are they real animal spirits? Well I don’t think it matters one iota if they are or aren’t, what you imagine you create. Whatever you believe and experience is your truth. It is the wisdom & knowledge you get from them that matters, not whether you believe that it’s an animal spirit or a part of your own psyche.
