Merry Christmas ~ Wisdom: Nuts ~ Today’s Daykeeper Kib

Merry Christmas everyone, may you all feel the energy of the season, love.

It struck me yesterday that the reason we feel an overall difference in the energy around Merry christmas, wisdom, nuts, mayan, daykeeper, Kib, solitude, balance, interdependent, healingthroughceremony.com, michele fire-riverheart

all of us at this time of year, is due to the sheer quantity of happiness, joy, love, gratitude, & abundance that is floating around. Then I started thinking of this energy that we create with these emotions, and how this energy permeates everything. It is no wonder then that we feel the energy shift. Folks that don’t care or believe a wit about energy feel it too, they just comment on it differently. “Isn’t it lovely how nice everyone is at this time of year.” It is an opportunity to experience the best in us, our potential in every moment, and what a gift that is. So I invite you all to take a moment and drink it in.

Today’s word is NUTS

It’s killing me to not say more, but I will leave you with your own inner wisdom to inform you about what your message is today.

merry christmas, wisdom, nuts, mayan, daykeeper, Kib, solitude, balance, interdependent, healingthroughceremony.com, michele fire-riverheart

We are working with our inner wisdom in this 20 day cycle. I invite you to take a moment, go to your breath, just focus on your breath with the intent of hearing your own wisdom of what you need to hear in relation to the word and the photos. If it speaks to you to write it down each day, or make a symbol, or a piece of art indulge yourself.

Mayan Daykeeper Kib ~ Kib’s essence is solitude.

You may experience Kib as the need for solitude or the desire for separation.
Being alone is often necessary to unwind
from intimate or entangled interactions with others.
Kib’s gifts are given to those that can be alone with themselves.

On a day with Kib as Daykeeper,
you may want to find time to be by yourself
or focus on what you can do by yourself alone.
It is an opportune time to separate yourself
from people and things that no longer serve your current needs.
You may feel much better after bringing certain things to a final conclusion.

People born on a Kib day often experience
their most profound revelations in solitude and usually work best alone.
Even in the presence of others
they are able to maintain an independent awareness of self.

When I was growing up there was this lovely cartoon series created by New Zealand cartoonist Kim Casali. (Loveiscartoon.com) I remember waiting for the newspaper to see what the cartoon was that day. It is one of the few things that stuck in my memory about that time in my life. So I’m taking a leaf out of her book, sans cartoons to illuminate my thoughts about love in the upcoming blog posts. Some you may agree with some you may not, it is just my opinion, you have your own and that’s as it should be.

I encourage you to add your own in the comments sections & I will add them in.

Flicker Birth Animal Totem~ Today’s Daykeeper Kib

Flicker Birth Animal Totem:  June 21 – July 22

A member of the woodpecker family flicker is often called the “little awakener” as it taps and drums in its search for food. It lives in a variety of woodland habitats, makes its nests in holes in dead trees and is very particular about the cleanliness of its home. Its feet are different than most birds having two toes in front and two in the back, which allows it to balance and move up and down on the sides of trees

Flickers teach about:
~ Having the right tools for you to maintain balance
~ Awakening the knowledge you already possess and activating latent talents and intuition
~ The rhythm of their drumming can teach you to align with the heart beat of nature and is a reminder that you have the ability to connect with realms other than physical
~ Flickers also help you to connect with the ancestors and the little people with their rhythmic tapping and drumming, and show you how to stay in balance and move with confidence when new rhythms are developing in your life
~ Flicker people are home oriented and are excellent in emergencies
~ They are loving, solid and stable yet have a wild quality about them and love natural settings
~ They are thoughtful and emotionally balanced
~ Their challenge when out of balance is independent thought and action
~ When balanced they are sensitive make good decisions and follow-through
~ Flicker experiences deep emotions that are ever shifting
~ Relationships are important part of their stability, contributing to their emotional stability
~ Flickers also like to be with others in their mystical pursuits and they devote themselves fully
~ They not only desire a family but a like-minded spiritual family they can be of service to
~ In their harmony they are free to pursue and discover their mystical pursuits

BIRTH ANIMALS:
~ Help you walk in balance
~ Shows you your heart capacity for love, the nature of your heart
~ How to express emotions and feel them
~ Helps you to be in the present moment emotionally, so you are present and not in past history

When we walk in balance we are connected to reality, the present moment. When out of balance we are in our personal history, living in the past or fantasizing about the future

Animal totems are numerous and varied, beliefs about how many we have and what they do, are just as varied. I present what I have been taught and experienced. Trance drum journeys are a way to find your animal totems, be it just one or many. I facilitate drum journeys. Should you be interested in doing one, contact me & we’ll set up an appointment for this magickal experience.

So what are Totem Animals and why would you even want one? Animal Totems are animal spirit allies, on your journey in this lifetime. They give you advice when asked for, and answer questions you have. They can support you when you’re scared, help empower you, clarify things, show you the next step in your healing journey, walk with you as a trusted companion and more. There are 9 Animal Totems, one in the centre and 8 around your Animal Totem Medicine Wheel. Are they real animal spirits? Well I don’t think it matters one iota if they are or aren’t, what you imagine you create. Whatever you believe and experience is your truth. It is the wisdom & knowledge you get from them that matters, not whether you believe that it’s an animal spirit or a part of your own psyche.

On Sept 21st Mayan Daykeeper Imix brought us back to the beginning of a new cycle of 20 days. This cycle we are looking at creation through imagination. The relevant daily information on today’s Mayan Daykeeper is below todays musings.

We are creators of our lives, what we imagine we create.

We are looking at ‘The Twelve Imaginings’. The were given to Hyemeyohsts Storm by Estcheemah. She was a Zero Chief. Hyemeyohsts wrote these down in his book Lightningbolt. What is a Zero Chief? My understanding is the Zero chiefs were a secret group of people that keep the spiritual & healing knowledge of the Native Americans when it needed to go underground, to preserve it and keep it safe due to colonization. Now I could be wrong, but there it is, make of it what you will.

We will do an imagining a day for 2 days. On the third day I will add an imagining of my own. You are invited to add imaginings of  your own in the comments section on any day. On the 20th day of the cycle I will list all the imaginings that have been submitted.

I imagine that humans have transmuted violence (Michele’s imagining)

I invite you to sit with this imagining, and see what it means to you.

Here’s some of what it means to me:
~ Energy can be put into exploration & learning
~ Freedom from constantly being ‘on guard’
~ I no longer fear that my daughter might be attacked just for being herself
~ I no longer monitor where I go and who is there, I am safe
~ I no longer have to be vigilant about the masculine

The Interconnection of Loneliness & The Great Teachers ~ Today’s Daykeeper Kib

Your interpretation and experience of these energies is your own. I can only share my personal understanding, I invite you to explore what they mean to you and their relevance in your life. This is really important. We gain nothing by ‘taking on’ others life experiences and beliefs. The juice and healing comes from within your own understanding, it is pivotal for your healing journey.

This cycle I am looking at the interconnection between The Twenty Great Teachers of Life and The Earth Count. Let’s see what their interconnection has to teach us. The relevant daily information on each energy is below todays musings.

The Interconnection of Loneliness & The Great Teachers ~  The Twenty Great Teachers: Rage, Care, Pain, The Physical, Feelings, Sex, Honesty, Testing, Victory, Confrontation, Raw Power, Spirit, Death, Fear, Defeat, Loneliness, Need, Seeking, Love, Patience. If you look at the one thing they have in common, it is you experience them alone. Even if you are with someone when you experience something, your experience is still yours & yours alone.

Should you not be able to experience these things without sharing them to be validated, I would hazard a guess that one of the reasons is, you feel lonely. If you share an experience without the need to share, usually this is an indicator that you are in balance.

If you need to share, & without sharing feel incomplete, this points to needing outside validation of your experience. Most of the time this is an indicator that in this area you are out of balance. This is not good or bad, it is just illuminating where you are ready to heal right now. You are now at choice to look at why you need validation or choose to not look at it at this time.

When you choose to heal needing outside validation, and get to the place where the only validation of your experience comes from within, you will no longer feel lonely. You may be alone, but being alone does not automatically mean that you are lonely. This is an empowering place to sit in.

Great teachers, loneliness, mayan, daykeeper, Kib, solitude, balance, interdependent, healingthroughceremony.com, michele fire-riverheartSo I invite you to have some alone time or if feasible an alone day, & see how comfy you feel. You might find that you really love your alone time, & have no need to share it orally or on social media with others. If you share things on social media this negates the whole point. It is yours, to hold close to your heart & to nourish yourself.

16 – The Great Teacher of Loneliness
Loneliness teaches us about mastery of power

As we heal and grow, quite often we loose friends and family, as commonalities drop away and the relationships that no longer serve us dissolve. We may find that our circle diminishes in size as we heal and change. Can we stay true to our spirit’s calling and honour the path that serves us the most?

Loneliness when alone is tolerable, loneliness when in relationship and I have abandoned myself is not.

What has the teacher of loneliness taught you?
Are you lonely on your own?
Are you lonely in relationship?
Are you lonely in a crowd?
Can you experience being alone and not being lonely?
Do you like who you’re with, in the quiet moments when you have only yourself for company?

16 – The Sixteen ~ SIXTEEN is called the Sphere of THE GREAT TEACHERS
The Great Teachers are always Present with Life. They encourage all people to Remember that Life is Holy. Come, dancers, and show Greatness to your Children. Teach them of our Lives.

Kib is here today (Mayan Daykeeper)

Kib’s essence is solitude.

16 – Kib    and    16 – The Great Teachers (Hyemeyohsts Storm’s Earth Count)

There are 20 great teachers, guess what we’ll be looking at next cycle? They range from care to rage, fear to raw power, love to loneliness.

So how do these two interconnect? How do we learn, does some-one learn for us…..no we learn alone, solitary. We can have teachers, facilitators, mentors but ultimately we learn within ourselves. Now what about mirrors of self reflection you might say? Well you can be married to a mirror of self reflection for 20 years and not get the lesson on offer, it is still up to you.

So today I invite you to take some time in solitude and reflect upon things you have learned and celebrate your achievements with something that will nourish you within that solitude. Those of you that have immediately gone to ‘I don’t have time!’ …. this isn’t supposed to be hard or a chore, no time, 10 minutes on your lunch break or before you go to sleep will impact you, should you choose to use it congratulating yourself & taking in your successes.

I used to be very dissatisfied with everything, one of my teachers gave me this advice. No matter what it is I have done, created a piece of art, swept the house, gone for a walk, weeded a garden, stop for a moment and take it in. ‘I did that……and I am proud of myself.’ These few moments changed everything, my attitude changed, my satisfaction with life changed, weird how something so simple can have such a dramatic effect.

Have a self nourishing day folks, walk in beauty.

Kib is present today (Mayan Daykeeper)

Solitude, ultimately we are all alone with ourselves. How often have you been amongst many people and felt alone. However energetically we are all connected, one of the little oxymorons of life. Due to this it is so imperative to your own mental health that you surround yourself with people that support what you want and need for your own mental health. Yes sometimes this is hard, we are however always at choice. I find it is easier to make choices if you look at life from a parental perspective, that of caring for your little child inside. Would you leave your child with the people that you engage with intimately? Would they care for, be kind & support your child? Would they be teaching your child the values that you care about? If the answer is no, well ……. You are that innocent little perfect child that was born so many years ago, you have changed and grown, adapted to survive. Now as an adult you are in the drivers seat and have the option to make different choices, that support thriving, not just surviving. Walk in beauty, have a wonderful day.

Kib’s essence is solitude.

It’s a Kib day (Mayan Daykeeper)

Solitude….. I live in a forest, I’m single,  live alone, work alone, all my close family lives in the east & I’m not very social. I often get asked by one particular person who is living alone, “Aren’t you lonely?” My answer is not usually. The times that I do indulge in loneliness, are times when I am feeling ‘not enough’, or thanksgiving & xmas, holidays when I really miss being with family. Sometimes I question why I am not lonely, is there mayan, daykeeper, Kib, solitude, balance, interdependent, Comfreak, Pixabay.com, healingthroughceremony.com, michele fire-riverheartsomething wrong with me? Well no, quite the opposite I have healed. I need solitude to be in balance, more than the average from what I’ve seen, I’ve healed my attachment for the most part, of needing to be validated, completed by another. (Although this will only really be tested if I every have a relationship again) I have created a rich meaningful life that ‘feeds’ me on all levels. Yet there are still times when I feel that I am not enough. These are the times that afford me the opportunity to see something new that is ready to be released. Another moment to heal & become a wee bit more balanced.

Kib’s essence is solitude.

If you have been following my blog the information below is a repeat. Previous Kib days this year Jan 19th, Feb 8th, 28th, March 20th, April 9th, 29th, May 19th

THE MAYAN DAYKEEPERS

The Mayan Daykeepers are spiritual beings with an archetypal energy within cycles of the Tzol’Kin or Mayan astrology. There are 20 Daykeepers each one presenting different energies & assigned to be present on certain days of the year. Rotating in a twenty day cycle.

I have found that having an awareness of which Daykeeper is present on any particular day, informs me about the active energy present that day. In this way I have more ease, fluidity & healing in my journey.

I offer a snipit of the knowledge presented in the book Mayan Calendar Voice of the Galaxy by Raymond Mardyks and Stacia Alana-Leah. They present comprehensive information on the way the calendar works, the energetics of the Daykeepers, the iconography of each Daykeeper, the symbol of each Daykeeper, meditations with the Daykeepers, as well as your personal birth Daykeeper.
